Most of the new RAV4's I see on the roads or showrooms are all Monotone BLACK. Have they ran out of other colors?

Question:

My RAV 4 has a slight knocking noise whenever I push the gas pedal abruptly especially during traffic. (A/T)

Is this a defect already? Please advise.

i just came back from toyota commonwealth, they quoted me the whole clutch, as in buo, for around 15K... kasi medyo manipis na daw

about elixir oil, i think this is the toyota synth oil na, ang sinabi sa akin ang manufacturer nito ay manufacturer din ata nung oil na ginagamit ng mitsu sa mga RALLY nila..

i posted this in one of the insurance threads, just thought i'd get your point of view also. i own a black RAV-4 SV.

got a major dent in my bumper (near foglights). almost the size of a volleyball. anyway, i went to the casa to have it looked at, toyota makati service personnel said the whole bumper needs replacing and it will cost close to P19T. di kaya daw repair kasi noticeable pa rin ang defect niya kung pukpok lang. i gave the estimte to my insurance rep. who is stationed in toyota makati.

anyway, i executed an affidavit saying i'm not exactly sure how i got it and submitted the docs to insurance rep. she takes a second look at my car and said that in her opinion, the dent can be repaired. kaya daw.

1. can i insist on the replacement of the bumper instead of the repair? mas ok ba to keep the original part? will it not result in development of rust or something?

2. can i insist na sa casa ipagawa instead of any of their authorized shops?

sabihin mo under warranty dapat yan!!! sulitin ninyo ang mga warranty natin...

You can insist na sa casa ipagawa... tutal dba nasa toyota rin naman siya naka base?

Sabihin mo replacement na... tutal eh pareho lang naman ang participation fee na babayaran mo.
