i have the VX model with the 4.2 liter I6 engine.... mas bare nga yung mag GX and GS model. yun ang gamit ng mga redcross wala atang fender flares usually... alam ko not all models have locking diffs so tignan mo muna... may mas higher model pa VX limited. may cooler sa console box and may electric winch. Yung aircon wala rin ako sa likod.

So far ok naman mga hinahanap ko na parts. nakakabili naman sa mga land cruiser specialist na stores.

Basta hindi local model at original LHD, malamang Africa or Mid-East model iyan.

Local LC80:
*Manual locking front hubs
*Dual a/c
*10 seater configuration

Kung Mid-East model iyan, malamang sulat Arabo yung mga identification plates sa engine compartment at door jamb. May sticker din usually ng Araco (the local Toyota arm there).

The local LC80 comes only with a 4.2 turbo diesel engine only right?

Yep. Good for around 155 bhp yata ito.

Yup, it's called HDJ80 series with 1HD-T engine, 4.2L turbo. Basically a reliable engine if cared for properly.

Yun bang 1.2 to 1.5 applies to the 92 model? Mahal pa pala kalit 10 year old model na. How do you know kung africa or dubai? I'm n vot sure about the fulltime 4x4 and locking diff (don't know what to look for) but i definitely saw two fuel gauge. One on the dash board and one near the rear view mirror. The 92 model of the LC would go for as low as 650K to a high of around 900k-1m. dependin on the condition.

You might be referring the African model it is bare, like the GX model. I have read from a magazine that it has 2 fuel tanks (main and auxiliary tank activated by a switch). You need to look near the dash board, there is a knob that indicates OFF, RR (diff lock), FF + RR (diff lock).

masyado mahal ata niyang 92 LC80... 1997-1998 LC80s go for 1.1-1.3M pesos i think.

165 hp/268 lb-ft yung 1hd-ft 4.2L diesel...

The local LC80 and LC100 have the same engine designation, 1HD-T, specs as quoted above. TMPI didn't bring in the updated version, 1HD-FTE, which has an ECU-controlled injection system. Safer for us since no one has the right equipment to calibrate the new computer controlled injection systems.

Hi, meron ba kayo ma-recommend na good mechanic ng LC 80 Gas 3F engine 4L carb?

Saka madami pa kaming papagawa, fuel system, brakes, aircon, sounds. I hope I can get a reply soon. Thank you!
