Had just bought Innova J series Diesel M/T: Delivery will be on 10/25
Price - Php808,000 + Insurance 22,766.( Orginal price was 858,000 because was able to avail additional discount of Php15K at Toyota Fort Bonifacio Promo on top of the Php35K discount). Avail Bank AUB Bank Loan at 8.35% OMA 2 years. Free Chattel Mortgage for 2 years ;

1) Is the deal ok?

2) Any recommendation I can install PowerLock & Alarm in Banawe? Can I find the Powerlock which have separate switch po sa passenger side, 2 switch on d driver side with 1 touch up & down feature? What brand? How much to spend?

3) Any recommendation where I can Trade-in the J-series hubcap into Mags na parang sa E-series ? Around how much ?

4) Hope for reminders for me newbies to take check when I will get my new Innova on 10/25?

hello ptk675, i chose the vvti based from the following preferences:
1. My old toyota lite ace is gas as well. Mas at easy na me sa gas.
2. i love quiter engine kasi ayaw ng lola ko ng maingay kasi sila maingay din pag nag kwentuhan sa loob .
3. as i understand, mas cheaper ang maintenance after quite sometime.
4. mas mura ang vvti hehe
5. since day 1, gas is my preference talga.
6. and lastly, hindi ako ntatakot sa gasoline prices kasi lazy driver ako;tipid-takbo na driver, kahit tricycle pina oovertake ko lolzz...

to conclude it all, its just a matter of your preference and choice.. as i understand also, the d4d issue has been addressed already by toyota..
goodluck sa decision mo later.. tell us what did you choose...

thanks po sir bardfort3. kumusta naman ang gas mileage and ilang taon na innova mo? iniisip ko lang kasi 2.7L yung gas engine so baka malakas sa konsumo. taga bulacan ako eh and madalas lumuluwas kaya malaking bagay din ang gas bills ko hehe

1.) Ask ko pang kung normal po ba umiinit ang wheels sa front?
sa long run mas mainit ang wheels sa harap compare sa likod normal po ba?

2.) Napansin ko po tuwing mag break ako, minsan po mahina lang nag bebreak po agad minsan po dapat idiin pa po paloob. Minsan nag sstandby ako sa traffic dumidiin sya paloob from normal break (nag iiba) parang ang feeling kakaon pa lang ng engine yung biglang lumalambot ang break pero mas lumalambot pa lalo. Normal po ba ito? bago naman po ang break pads.


3.) Bakit po mahirap ma remote innova namin (open close door) dapat malapitan pa. bago naman po ang battery ng remote. Ano po ang pwede natin ma check dito?

Heat from the mags, tires or both? The heat could be coming from the engine.

Yung biglang bumabaon, napansin ko yan sa stand still traffic. It usually occurs in tandem with the aircon compressor shuttling bet. idles.

Its a matter of your remote key having a clear line of sight with the transmitter inside the vehicle. As for mine, it varies. Sometimes even when you are a 2 meters away it won't function bec. I was pointing it down. It works well, when I'm pointing the key down from a 2 storey structure. Try pointing your remote key high and make sure there is a clear line of sight.

Discount alone is quite good already. Your freebies are industry standard. Either request for a full front windshield tint or try haggling for free 3 yrs LTO (this will be tough to snatch).

3) Any recommendation where I can Trade-in the J-series hubcap into Mags na parang sa E-series ? Around how much ?

Try Evangelista (near Pasay, Edsa) or Rizal Ave. Ext. Looks like everyone else has the same idea as you so don't expect the shops to pay a lot for the steel rims and hubcap. As for the availability of the E variant, that would depend these shops has come upon someone trading in their mags.

ask ko lng po,,, pano po ba right way of cleaning/washing ng innova natin? kc when i was supposed to buy things/ cleaner for the innova, mdami snasabi yun salesman na bwal... or wag muna gawin, if bgo nmn dw un kotse,,, like shampoo,,,wag dw, water and punas lng dw,,,pano ba linisin? car wash lng kc alam ko, and we're planning to clean it ourselves nlng muna, kc di dw ok pag carwash sa labas. how about waxing it? thanks po!

Tell him/her to try taking a bath without soap. Its the same thing with cars. The car shampoo acts as a form of lubrication bet. the microfiber towel (you need to buy this and its much better than "pranela" being sold in the streets.) and the sheet metal

You need to get a car shampoo. The shampoo being used by most people who frequent this forum is from Big Berts.

i understand 2.5l lng ang mga d4d - correct me if im wrong po. just hitting beyond the warranty period na po.. gas mileage is quite good enough sir.. highway at 12. xx km/l. averaging po ng 10 km/li. tama ka rin dyan sir.. mga luko kasi yang mga gasoline companies.. pinag uuuto lang tayo... bababa ang price ng 50 cents; itataas naman ng 75 cents,,, parang karako na sayaw yan sir...dalawang hakbang pasulong- tatlong hakbang pabalik -LOLZ..kung anu sir ang tinitibok pa rin ng puso mo, yun ang kunin mo sir, after all, our rides (d4d or vvt) is one of the best pa rin. saka sir, kung mag sisi ka man sa huli, at least sarili mo lang sisisihin mo kung bakit yun ang pinili mo ehehehe..have a great day sir....

Same here, its good to be present in EB. Nice to meet you club members who are present. Thank you Maam Liv and company for welcoming us newbies. Pasaway ang ulan di na tayo nakapicture ng matagal as group. Nadikit ko na rin precious sticker, kaso delicate pala prone kasi sa tuklap ang mga sides ng letters.

Btw, hands down ako sa maintenance ng innova mo Maam Liv parang laging nakakulambo at di madapuan ng alikabok. Share naman po ng daily routine maintenance mo..

Was late at the club EB. think i brought the rains,bigla umulan the time i entered the moa area.Nevertheless, caught up with lovely mam liv and some of the group who braved the quick downpour. was able to get that prestigous innova club sticker.Now i feel i belong. Mam liv paki open uli member's list thread pra maka pag register new members. Thanks and more power to the club. Let's start planning for the club's Christmas party.
