November 26th, 2015 03:49 PM #11421Salamat Dr. D, other than that po sa unintentionally tska nallocked/unlocked wala naman po ibang nagiging problem? kuripot din ako sir gusto ko lang magkaruon ng kaunting security man lang yung sasakyan. hehehe

ang ginawa ko ay ifillup yung reservoir up to the "B" level. reservoir cap off. tapos varying engine speed (from idle to just above 3,000 rpm, etc.)
or kelangan buksan yung plastic plug sa may upper tank ng radiator???
tapos nung akala ko nableed ko na e ibinalik ko yung reservoir cap then few minutes idling then engine off. after few minutes uli, tinanggal ko reservoir cap e bumababa uli yung level ng coolant sa reservoir. from "F" to lower than "L". kaya no choice kundi ulitin uli yung procedure.

AFAIK, the engine cooling system is self-bleeding. One thing to remember however is that it requires you to warm up the engine so that the thermostat opens up.
With the engine still cold, the thermostat is closed which prevents the coolant from flowing to/from the radiator. But as you've described, after leaving the engine idling for several seconds, the thermostat opened up and the coolant started flowing to the radiator. This also will push air towards the highest point of the cooling system (the reservoir, in the case). Just replenish the coolant to Full and check the level again after a few more minutes. Then again after the engine has cooled down (ie. next morning). Top up as necessary. Once the level stops receding, you'll know that the bleeding process is complete.

yes sir. i do understand the basics. nakapagbleed nako before on different engines. ngayong lang ako nagbibleed on the reservoir (not directly sa radiator).
kaso nga lang, mejo windang din ako kung ano yung nakaimprenta na "B" sa coolant reservoir (bale B, F at L). yung "F" at "L" ay sa tingin ko e Full at Low....yung "B" naman, sa tingin ko, e you fill at that "B" level when bleeding. once naburp na yung system is bababa na sa "F" level.
atsaka nung tinanggal ko yung reservoir cap (engine off) pagkatapos nung bleeding, e bumaba pa uli yung coolant level (lower than "L"). mejo drastic nga yung pagbaba. kaya sinubukan ko uli ibleed.

hmmmmm...
salamat

yung binili kasi nung may-ari na brand new (P2k daw nya nabili sa banawe) e nagfifreewheel (about 5 freewheels siguro). di pa nakaconnect yung elesi nun. binuksan ko e parang napakakonti ang laman na silicone oil kaya dinagdagan ko ng 5 pcs (16 ml each) silicone oil. after that e ganun pa rin ang freewheel. parang walang epekto kahit na sinubukan kong painitin yung thermostatic element gamit ang lighter.
more than 150k km na rin natakbo...nung binuksan ko yung dating clutch na nagcrack due to collision e may nakalagay na parang tire interior sa loob nito.
i would expect something like this, if the authorizing authority did not have a clear idea of their...
