Innova namin pina check ko sa Casa may whistling kasi... tapos sabi nila sa ALTERNATOR daw galing ang sound bili daw ako ng BEARING. After a week dumating ang Genuine na bearing worth almost 600 pesos. Pinapalitan ko worth 1k pero nong natanggal na di nila ma open ang alternator. wala daw kasi silang special tools then dinala ko sa alternator shop dito sa probinsya di rin nila ma open wala silang alam sa mga bagong alternator tapos may nakita silang isang diode na busted na daw. tapos sabi nong isang tao na pag may sirang isang diode ay tumutunod daw na whistle. totoo kaya sinasabi nito? Pinabalik ko na lang ang aternator since walang marunong. .

tanong ko lang po.. kung sira ang isang diode dapat wala na syang charging right? pero bakit nag chacharge pa rin ang alternator nong nag check ang Casa.

Saan po tayo makakabili ng BAGONG ALTERNATOR ng Innova dyan sa manila na mura na genuine pa? Sana may makapag post ng nag bebenta at fone number?

Just had my 05 Innova D4d's alternator changed a couple of weeks ago.. Cost me 16.5k with installation.. Orig.. Had it changed at Innovate along N. Roxas near banawe Q Ave side.. From quezon ave, turn right to banawe, go straight until you reach BDO, turn left on that street(N. Roxas), few meters lang sila from BDO, same side.. Look for BJ..

Is it possible to rewind the odometer of the innova to lower down the mileage? i mean is it that easy to do, so those selling second hand cars can fool those who are interested to buy?

If there's anyone of you guys who have added power steering fluid in your innova i just want to know the brand to buy, kasi yung innova ko nasa minimum hot level na yung fluid.

you can disconnect the odometer cable to stop it from reading... but i doubt if you can rewind it... i could be wrong though.

Mam Liv is correct... pwede yun di gumana basta disconnect mo lang yun cable. about naman sa reset, i think its possible kaso you have to open your odometer, if you can find its battery for its memory pwede ma-reset(kung memory is run by battery). Pero kung encrypted yun memory medyo mahirap yun maireset.

Guys ano ba kailanagan ko ipacheck kasi yung Innova namin parang may unusual sound pag nagbebreak lalo na pag-kakaandar plang. Yung parang dumidikit yung preno. Thanks.

Yung friend ko po nagpalit ng alternator sa innova 05 d4d manual nya it cost him 12-13k sa toyota pasong tamo. Bearing po talaga nagiging problem pero la pa special tool na pambukas

Seems like the dealers are offering the same thing. Either get the cash discount or get free insurance w/ lto, etc... Nothing special really.
