Other than the usual accessories offered by Carryboy and Shark for our Innovas, has anyone seen any accessories from TOM'S Racing or Spoon Sports for our Innova? Both are orig. Japanese racing-parts outfitters and I think they both have factories in Thailand making accessories for non-JDM Toyota models like our Innova.

While passing along Malugay St. last Sat. I saw an Innova being outfitted at Karplus and it had a really astig black billet racing grille marked in chrome - Spoon Sports. Sayang, didn't bring my digicam - na-post ko na sana yung pic.

I checked with TOM'S Asia Philippines (tel. 817-2241 look for Rose Feria), wala pa raw silang parts for Innova (lahat ng available inventory nila are for Vios and Rav-4) but said she'll check with TOM'S Thailand.

Sino kaya distributor ng Spoon Sports dito sa Pinas?

I tried to compare Larshell's new wheel diameter from the old one. Parehas naman. I don't see any reason for mileage deviation. Try to visit this site for more info. and clarification: http://www.motioncars.com/archive/ti...al/index3.html

Don't remember going anywhere to merit the big jump nga eh. When my driver did the refueling, 1 week after ko na na compute, gulat nga ako eh. But I need more refuels to verify this, baka nga na timing lang. However, the without biodiesel results were over 7 refuels, with a high and low km/liter of 7.53km/liter to 8.67km/liter. This fluctuation takes into account driving conditions, driver habits (ang gumagamit ng kotse, ako, my wife, and my driver). Its also possible that the style of refueling is different because its a different refueling station (in house) than my without biodiesel (my suki shell station). If nagkamali sila pagload (di na full tank), it will reflect on my next biodiesel refuel.

the first biodiesel load was 49.5liters. Then I reset my trip meter to zero. The 401 km was refueled with 40 liters load, thus giving me 10km/liter.

*marcel15, will post my consumtion after my next fulltank i dont know if im correct wd my observation have to verify first. I dont know what model of ROTA my rim is, i bought my rims and tires at Tomas Mapua st. Blumintrit manila RAF Tires Dami kang mapipili, i wld suggest Chrome or Hyper silver very noticeable wd GrayMica metallic.

*busy road, I will verify first if im correct if my consumption change or not pero ito ang wierd mas LUMAMBOT ang ride ng Innova ko wd my new Tires and Rim or ako lang yon. " Siguro sa laki ng gastos" hehehe

*larshell, sorry to butt in but when you changed your tire, your mileage should improve theoretically. I used the tire size calculator (stock tire vs. new tire, use metric) here's the link : http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

    stock tire : 205x65R15
    new tire : 225x55R17

your new tire is larger (in circumference by 99.9mm) 4.9% thus you cover roughly 5% more distance per tire rotation. You mileage should improve by around 4.9% also (theoretically) under same driving conditions. Also, when your speedometer reads 100 kph, you are actually travelling 104.9kph.

    Referring to busy road's post

, computing on the wheel difference between larshell's stock against his new tire reveals an outside diameter difference of 4.9%. Referring to busy road's given article link above, a 0.4% difference of outside diameter is an acceptable difference whereas, an 8% difference will, as the article says, create havoc with the car's suspension and other settings. Question is a 4.9% difference an acceptable difference?

I recompute the difference. Bro, you are right it's 4.9% higher in diameter. So, larshell is supposed to save 4.9% of the distance travelled (theoretically).

In my personal opinion, this is not the case. The tire diameter has something to do with the design to maximize the overall performance of the car. Therefore, it's not advisable to alter the diameter. Well, I am not a Mechanical Engineer to say I am right. But, there is an engineering formula (maxima and minima) that there is always a maximum and minimum consideration as far as design criteria is concerned. For this reason, at what extent can we increase the tire diameter taking into consideration that no other parts will be affected. The answer is very clear, many articles are opposing the idea.
    Good day tsikoters...
