Ask ko lang , I have an Innova J D4, balak ko mag pa -install ng power window brand daw Shark, any feedback on this.... asking price saken 18k..... Thanks.... bago ako magpakabit....

I have mine installed at Toyota Makati at P16K. May discount kasi ang nestle na 20%, original price at P20k, shark brand.

More than 6 months ng nakakabit, walang problema. Hussle kasi pag di power, ang binabayaran dito yung convenience lalo na pagbabae ang mabubukas ng manual mabigat.

Bago lang po ko dito. I still don't have an innova yet but i'm trying to convince my husband to buy the innova d4d e m/t kasi parang ang practical niya. Gusto niya kasi ng kia carens o hyundai santa fe (which is beyond my budget na). I know na medyo ibang category na yung santa fe, parang di na siya comparable sa innova, but can you give me points to tell my husband to convince him na innova na lang bilhin?

sabi niya kasi dami daw problems sa diesel engine, matagtag, hindi daw consistent yung fuel consumption, etc. I know walang kotse na perfect, pati carens & santa fe may drawbacks din, but can you enlighten me re the tried & tested selling points of the innova?

FYI: Pareho po kami gagamit, pareho po kami babayad, pareho po kami magaalaga (actually mas ako pa, kasi ako palaging nagreremind o gumagawa ng mga car maintenance namin), but since I have respect for my husband, the ultimate decision goes to him.

We HAVE gone to all the dealers and listened to all the sales pitches, ginalugad na namin ang buong westgate, nakaabot na kami ng commerce ave at sucat. Unfortunately, toyota does not offer test drives, & i don't understand why.

We have settled on these 3 units because we need a service unit that is capable of work (yung tipong di ka takot gamitin, pangharabas) pero comfortable naman, and medyo 1.2 M max. We have other units that we use.

Meron kaming first hand experience about other units of the same & other brands, pero wala kaming first hand experience sa carens & innova.The reason why I posted my message on this board is to get the opinion of people who HAVE first hand experience on the innova. Sales pitches are never reliable.

To be more specific: Okay na ba yung diesel engine ngayon? Ok ba yung suspension? Ok ba yung fuel consumption ngayon ng 2008 model? Kamusta yung problems ng diesel ng toyota now compared to yung mga na-recall na manufactured from jan-oct 2005? If I were to get the gas variant instead to avoid the hassle (we're 1st time diesel users), kamusta naman yung consumption nun?

I've tried searching tsikot pero puro sa 1st message ng thread nito ako nadidirect, and mahirap to wade through 3 years of messages. As for the FC, walang masyadong info on the FC of the gas variant, pa-isaisa lang.

newbie_innova, Have you tried visiting Toyota Otis I think they still have a test drive unit for the Innova. You can try calling them to confirm or just visit them personally.

okay na okay na po ang engine ng diesel variant.. about sa suspension walang problem.. pati sa fuel consumption tipid siya for everyday use every 2 weeks kasi ako magpa full tank mon-fri usage kaya in my opinion tipid na siya... HTH

try mo sis sa Tyt Otis for a test drive... galing lang ako don last thur. at nandun yung test drive unit nila... gaya ng sabi ng mga naka D4D engine, solve na po ang problema with regards to fuel/supply pump... it has something to do na rin kasi with the quality of diesel fuel that we have in the Phil... kaya mas maganda po if you refill lang in any of our top three companies... i own a Gas variant... average consumption ko is 7.5-8.2 km/l. mostly city driving lang ako... suspension is ok... it can sit about 8 people plus luggages without worrying na lulundo or sasayad yung gulong mo sa fender sa likod... you also don't have to worry about floods because of its high ground clearance... regarding naman sa sobrang dami na ng Innova sa daan... for me, it just proves one thing... it's RELIABILITY kaya more and more people keep on buying it. just my 2 cents

Mam Newbie,

Kabibili lang namin ng G variant D4D matic October last year, satisfied naman kami sa performance, di nalalayo sa kotse ang riding comfort at sa arangkada di naman dehado, smooth pa ang takbo kahit automatic diesel sya at magaan i-drive. Sana ma-convince n'yo husband n'yo na Innova na ang bilin. Regards!

ahh, nakita ko na yang autobac na yan tabi lang yan nung binilan ko sa team service center kasi ako bumili,, papalagay na nga rin ako ng side mouldings kailangan ba i-order for the lead time for the painting or may naka ready na sila? may screw ba na involved pag kinabit?? ;>
