    this is caused by hydroplaning

According to Smart Motorist, Hydroplaning occurs when water on the roadway accumulates in front of your vehicle's tires faster than the weight of your vehicle can push it out of the way. The water pressure can cause your car to rise up and slide on top of a thin layer of water between your tires and the road. While hydroplaning your vehicle rides on top of the water, like a water skier on a lake. In less than a second, your car can completely lose contact with the road, putting you in immediate danger of sliding out of your lane. This usually happens at higher speeds, over 40 miles per hour. Try to imagine your vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on a sheet of ice: that image approximates what will happen if you try to brake or steer while hydroplaning.

Pick-up trucks don't get much down force so less Grip, when Hydroplaning occurs it would have terrible results
Hydroplaning might be the main cause but Hilux owners, hinay-hinay lang. ROLL OVER is the potential risk of your truck.
ELK TEST--"Under an evasive maneuver in normal traffic, the Toyota Hi-lux will roll over"

I doubt it, the spec sheet still states the same 102hp/200Nm output from the 2.5. No intercooler, that's the output from the non-intercooled 2KD-FTV. Dunno nga why they can't bring in the intercooled version, sila na ata yung may lowest output sa mid-low range pickup segment. Pero it's quite understood that Toyota isn't known for its performance.

TSCP also invites Hilux owners to participate in 4x4 offroad clinic. click the link for more details. http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...t=50196&page=6

Here is the list so far:
We are planning to tap the services and facilities of Beeboy Bargas' (of TopGear, 4x4ph.com) Landcraft for this first clinic.

But first of all....we need to come up with at least 12 participants (cost concerns) for this to push through.

Those interested, sign-up here please. Average cost 2.5k to 3k. The more, cheaper. This is scheduled sometime on October....One day affair lang unless gusto niyo magcamping sa Tanay and mag-advance 4x4 clinic tayo the next day.

    2. Boz (prefers a Sunday, pero will adjust depende sa majority)
    3. ooba99 - like doc boz, I prefer a Sunday
    4. jeffthermosa (Saturday is fine but willing to consider Sunday)

i'd still take the hood scoop kahit walang intercooler.

    cooler engine bay.

kung lalagyan nila ng intercooler yan add on cost din yun.
