You don't really need to replace your cabin filter at 15k km unless you travel on dusty provincial roads a lot.
Check the condition of the current one so you can gauge for yourself how dirty it is. It's in the manual how to remove it - just take out the glove box (fastened by 2 clips) then you should see the filter.

My experience with my innova is that I change the Cabin filter myself every 20K km. For the Altis, I'm not as OC as before and have not seen the Cabin filter since I got the car. I was relying on Casa techs doing the cleaning and all. No replacement done on my 20K pm though. Maybe it's time for a visual inspection.....

July 24th, 2017 10:45 AM #4795nearing the end of my 3 year warranty. has anybody claimed parts for replacement?
just had may 35k pms done last saturday. yesterday (sunday), 3 friends decided to ride with me and my wife to an event. i heard a creaking sound on the right back side of the car the moment the 3rd occupant seated. when we arrived at the destination, i heard it again when he stood up to get out of the car. going home, i still heard the sound but this time a different friend occupies the seat.
only the right side produces the sound. it is usually me and wife who rides the car. rarely do we have passengers at the back. no feedback of suspension problem during the 35k pms. i tried to replicate the problem at home, alone, by bouncing on the back right seat but can't reproduce. is this a symptom of a shock leak? what else should i look at?

86 rims on altis? Few questions.
1. Is 3mm spacer on front would be enough to clear and make space for the calliper? If yes, is it safe to still use the stock stud bold or replace them with longer ones?
2. For the rear, will the 86 wheels fit in even without adding up spacers?

July 25th, 2017 04:23 PM #4798I usually refrain from having them replaced sa casa, I do it myself. You'll save a bit that way, madali lang naman yan, bibili ka lang ng air cabin filter sa banawe, you just unclip and remove the old one then replace it with the new one. Super dali lang. Pag sa casa mahal yan almost double ang price. Visual inspection lang pwede na, malalaman mo na if need na palitan pag marumi na talaga.
K&N filters are washable, although a bit expensive.
