Same tayo ng ride, doc. Ayos sa okay pa naman but on the hunt na rin sana ng Toyota Altis 2.0V 2011-2013 pero very scarce sa 2nd hand market. Y2011 is when this Altis variant first got a CVT yata. Been driving my brother's 11th Gen 1.6V with the CVT and I think I'm not missing the head snapping acceleration naman. My main concern is the supposed additional fuel mileage that the technology affords over the conventional AT. I had my apprehensions earlier but unanimous naman sa nabasa ko that Toyota CVT is one of the most reliable. But as I've said medyo scarce talaga at kung meron man eh above my budget na. Kaya tuloy kung saan saan na napunta ang choices ko.

our 2003 altis still has its original rack and pinion...
what did escape diagnosis, was the rear bushing of the A-arm.
it was missed by the two non-banawe mechanics who replaced some underchassis components, one after the other, because of that strange lagutok...
it was spotted immediately by the banawe (forgive my effusive words of worship) mechanics. it was a very vast change after that.Last edited by dr. d; February 23rd, 2021 at 10:35 AM.
