Hi all, Newbie here. I just got my altis (M/T) last month. So far I'm happy with it pero medyo challenging timplahin ung clutch/gas; parang ang lalim ng clutch. It's NOT my first time to drive manual although ung dina-drive ko before diesel na mas malaking car.

Is this a normal thing since nag-aadjust pa ako to the new car? Any similar experiences? Any tips na ginawa nyo to make it less challenging?

    Thank you!

I also had a manual diesel before my manual Altis. Diesels are more forgiving because even if you let go of the clutch haphazardly, it usually won't stall because diesels have more torque at low revs and the car will move forward.

What you're experiencing is perfectly normal. What you should do is focus on memorizing your clutch's friction point, or that point wherein you're at the brink of stalling/moving. You'll feel it kasi manginginig yung kotse if you release the clutch any further. If you memorize that, masasakto mo na lagi yung timpla ng gas and clutch so you don't overrev or stall when moving from a standstill.

How to do it? Practice, practice, practice. Just keep driving and you'll get the hang of it eventually.

I got my G AT last April 2016 with P50,000 discount, free LTO, usual freebies (Bank PO).
