April 4th, 2015 10:43 AM #2282I have 2014 11th gen Altis 1.6V bali hindi naka leather seats. May naka experience ba sa inyo ng static or ground? madalas ko na ma experience kahit minsan ko lang ginagamit yun Altis. Leather seats lang ba ang solution para ma wala ang static/ground?

April 4th, 2015 11:06 AM #2283Ingat lang po sa CVT, it's designed for fuel economy, not designed to be driven hard. If we want a car for more for spirited and sporty drive better go for manual transmission.

April 5th, 2015 10:54 AM #2286run a conductor from the upholstery to the seat adjuster. this material can be metal or fabric. if fabric, you will have to experiment which works and which does not.
gamit ka ng imperdible to attach it to the upholstery. itali mo sa adjuster yung kabila.
i hope this works for you, 'cause it'll be egg on my face if it doesn't.
heh heh.Last edited by dr. d; April 5th, 2015 at 11:00 AM.

April 6th, 2015 06:11 PM #2289This happens to me whenever I depress the gas quickly. It's like the CVT knows na you are in "speed" mode (vs. fuel consumption mode). Hence, it will shift you in a much higher RPM. Also, it will take just a few more seconds to down shift even if you let go of the gas. My thinking there is it waits for you because maybe you let go just a little bit and will depress the pedal again. If it down shifts right away you loose much needed power if you press on the gas again.
It's like the CVT adjusts depends on how fast you depress the pedals specially since it doesn't have a button on power or eco like the old altis transmissions. It gets a hint based on the behavior of your feet.
Hope I made sense. Hehehe.
