issue ko lang kasi sa fort is luma na yung body nya and baka bu 2016 may bagong gen na i dont want to buy a car na less than 2 years mukha nang luma..as compared to the altis na for sure it will take another 4 years bago magpalit ng model/body.

Btw, kamusta FC ng altis 1.6 AT nyo?

Finally, after weeks of deliberation and comparison, i ended up with the white pearl 1.6v altis!

initial impressions:
- aircon is super lamig even at 28degrees
- FC is at 7.4km/l but i am currently at 144kms(odo) so i expect this to go high
- super lambot ng steering wheel parang laruan lang :thumbup:
- i really like the back and front sensor, yung nga lang nakakapraning pag nasa traffic and pag may dumaan na motorcycle, tutunog talaga sya lol

question:
- normal ba na may parang garalgal/sumasayad na sound pag nag b break? though hindi naman madalas, usually pagkastart ng sasakyan.
- can you suggest a good brand of mats for the altis? yung libre kasi super nipis lang i want sana something na medyo durable and hindi dumihin

nung kinuha ko unit ko, ganyan din FC nasa 7 point something..
ngayon odo is around 890km na pero nasa naglalaro lang sa 5-6 ung FC.. normal ba yan kasi lagi lang ako mandaluyong-makati (traffic)?

ung parang garalgal sound, yes napapansin ko din sa break minsan lalo na pag downwards tapos traffic..

yan din advise ng SA saken, hayaan ko nalang daw kasi ndi naman masyado halata.. pag dumami na daw scratches ska ko pa repaint? lol

6K pag repaint sa casa, pero pag claim mo sa insurance 4.5K lang. o baka siguro depende sa insurance provider mo..

Sir Altis 1.6V owner here. Yung FC ko is 10-12 km/L (Manual computation). Mix driving (City/highway) pero mostly moderate traffic samen. My ODO is 8,000 km na. Dati 7-8 km/L ung consumption ng akin nung bago pa. Pero twice nako nag pa change oil. Hopefully after 10,000 km mas titipid pa altis ko. Shell nitro+ pala gamit ko ngayon. Oil ko ay synthetic blend

parang ang baba ng 5-6km/L unless bumper to bumper ka talaga most of the time

anong usual route mo sir to get the 10-12km/L na FC?
i'm using petron xtra unleaded gas..is this ok? or mas ok ba ang shell/caltex over petron?

There's usually a sound after you start which may be the ABS brake check.

For mats, i usually use 3M or something equivalent to that.

Ah, I just look at the FC kasi sa display lang.. i will try manual computation nga din sometime..

Mas ok ba yan Shell Nitro+? Initially I used Caltex Gold (dahil sa techron, totoo ba daw un? hehe), but then switched to Petron Blaze.

Kung hindi issue ang budget..sa fortuner ako. Lalo na kung walang issue sa gas kung walang issue sa budget ng auto.

Sir ok naman takbo ng altis ko with shell Nitro+. Since nilabas ko sa casa yung na ginamit ko. Ok consumption ng akin lalo ng pag NLEX/SCTEX. Pumapalo ng 14-15 km/L (manual computation) at 100 km/h speed. Basta lage ako alalay sa takbo, 2000 rpm ang maintain ko at magaan tapak sa pedal ng gas.

By the way, area ko sa Angeles, Pampanga. Light to moderate ang traffic samen pero hindi gaya sa Manila na gitgitan talaga. 10-12 km/L kaya talaga by manual computation. Satisfied talaga ako sa consumption. Sana mas tumipid pa after 10k KM change oil (currently 8k odo ko) and 10 months na altis ko - Lapit na mag birthday hehehe!

Hindi ako familiar sa Caltex techron sir. Di ko pa nagamit kasi. You can try shell as well para ma test mo sa tsikot mo if ok.
