September 7th, 2008 08:35 PM #104Does anyone know where we can buy Corolla Altis 2008 specific accessories?
Not the universal type accessories but the actual model specific goodies?

Hi UUE213, congratulations on your new ride. Congrats on your FC. Really very fuel efficient. Sadly, my onboard computer now is giving me a readout of 7.7 km/L only. Sana mag improve na after my 1000km check up...

Hi! I noticed that most people posting here own the 1.6 variants of this car. How is its performance? Hindi ba siya sluggish considering the weight of the car relative to its engine?

September 8th, 2008 07:24 PM #108So far, I have not noticed any kind of slugishness even when my wife and kids + yaya were in the car. We were cruising at 100kph on C5 and I wasn't even pushing it.
I did, however, notice that my LTO registration fees were the same as the Camry . When I asked my SA about it, she said that the new Altis is in the same weight class as the Camry and so the registration fees are the same.
The Trunk/Boot is very spacious
AC is very quick to cool the car even when parked under the sun for several hours.
Racedriver, thanks! I forgot to mention that my FC included a trip to Alabang yesterday Sunday (no traffic) and that may have contributed to my 11.6 km/L. After todays Makati traffic, my Fc is now reading 11 km/L

September 9th, 2008 06:28 AM #109Hi UUE213, regarding sa leather seat cover mo na pinagawa mo sa seatemate, paano nila ginawa yung sa arm rest mo sa back seat? nakabalot din ba ng leatherette or nakatago lang sya and zippered?

September 9th, 2008 09:28 AM #110Here are some more pics.
They used rugby for the center arm rest in front and they wrapped the back arm rest with the leather seat cover.
