Palyado ba at that rpm? Pa linis mo throttle body tapos rev it for a couple of min. Battery is ok? Dapat pag rev it should smoothly go up and walang hesitation.

Di siya palyado sir. Irritating lang kasi minsan nagvivibrate car. The needle is very much steady hindi siya nag up and down yung parang pagpalyado. Ok naman siya. Had throttle body cleaned na din, still the same result. Sabi nung technician baka daw yung idle up ko di nagfufunction. Sa pronto ako nagpunta kanina sir.

^ possibly the idle up (or whatever you call it); this is supposed to compensate for the varying engine load. Try a unit from a good VVTi engine to see if it works before changing?

Try reving it for 2 min on a warm engine. Clean air filter?

High rev up to or near red line. Then let go and repeat rev up then let go.

The 03 Camry i had did that when we replaced the battery.

Then the gas was pumped and pumped for about a couple of min and umayos.

Sir had this done also with the mechanic but to no avail hehe. Nakahanap na ako ng temporary solution...buksan ang radio and listen
to good music para di maramdaman ang pagvibrate paminsan

Have you tried resetting the ECU? My Altis gets low idle after disconnecting the battery but reverts to normal after a few minutes and driving the car. Feels better even after doing such.

Try also a shop who has a diagnostic computer.

The problem is not on the camries, the problem is your " mechanic". Find a reputable technician not a cheap mechanic.

Cry once punta ka casa to diagnose. Tapos pag suggest change plugs and it has been done tell them. Or any work for that matter that has been done.

Pag sabi nila change this part or so check if you can buy it cheaper outside.

    Hi sirs!

May question lang ako. Recently had a work done on my engine. 2.4v 2004. Had my cylinders resurfaced due to low oil pressure. To make it short, after it was done, i had to take it back due to a leak between cylinder head and engine block. I was informed na di daw masyado masikipan yung bolt because the aluminum block is prone to losing threads. Already replaced the gasket twice after that. 2nd replacement had sealant na pero may leak parin. After researching sa net, sakit nga daw ng 2azfe yun and they recommend to use time sert or heli coil. Aside from this procedure and replacing the block, what are my other options?

We had the same problem on our 2005 Camry when it overheated (due to a busted aux fan). The machine shop fixed it by rethreading (or something like that) all the bolt holes to ensure proper torque specs are attained. That was done over two years ago and the car is still reliable as ever.
