ito ata kailangan nyan para maging power window. complete door trim set (door trims+switches+power window regulator)

madami narin nakapag palagay nyan dito..
sa akin J din pero sa ngayun central lock lang at alarm ang nilagay ko.

san ka nagpalagay ng alarm at central lock? how much it cost you? thanks

Do you know kung saan ako pwede magpa-install ng power windows? 200K kasi yung difference ng J at ng G eh.

sa banawe madami.. dito sa tsikot may pinupuntahan sila.. si Jimson.. magaling sya.. nasubukan ko na din sya.. along banawe halos katapat lang sya nang Sogo.. nagkakabit sya power windows.. pero as i said generic nga yung mga buttons..

Just finished handing in all my paperwork and hopefully makukuha ko na yung base model Vanzy J ko this week. This thread has been very helpful in making my decision for me so I would also like to share whatever information I obtained during the course of my research. For those thinking of converting their manual windows to power, here's some useful info:

Not all Toyota dealer's do power windows conversion. So far Toyota Otis is the only one willing to do so while still keeping the warranty intact. The other dealers I talked to either can't do it or will do it but will void the car warranty. Power windows conversion thru Toyota Otis will cost you P 25,000 but you can ask for discount and at least you will be able to maintain the warranty.

That's the high price end of the spectrum, the low price end of the spectrum to convert to power windows is around P 8,500 including installation. This is a generic universal power windows assembly but it will get the job done. Only problem is you will void your warranty for having this done outside the CASA. You can get this at C34X4 along Sgt. Rivera near Araneta Ave. in QC.

If you ask me about quality I really can't say but the control consoles they use look exactly the same but I don't know about the mechanism. I guess it's a matter of whether you are willing to void your car warranty or not. There are a lot of other options along banawe and araneta ave. but they would all void the warranty so you might as well go for either the CASA or the cheapest.

According to the CASA they don't have the armrest style power windows control for Avanza, only pang Innova. Hope this helps any of you who are also thinking about installing power windows on their J Vanzy.

No need to change the drive position. Just step on the gas pedal and automatically the gear will downshift t give you the needed acceleration. Or, kung talagang gusto mo, just switch off the OD.
In my opinion, there's no harm in shifting from D to 2 when overtaking but your speed will be limited only to the 2nd gear and you defeat the purpose of automatic transmission.

thanks po sa replies. i was just thinking na nakakasira sya ng transmission. kinakapos po kasi ako minsan sa pag overtake. after naka overtake na po ako balik na ulit sa D position. will be trying the Overdrive off next time. thanks po again
