good day mga sirs, newbie lang ako dito sa tsikot, ano po kayang problema ng avanza ko, pag nag nasa low gear at nag slow down ako at nag release na ako ng gas nag eegine brake or jerking na po,nangyayari din po ito at high gear/high speed na parang bigla na lang parang nasasakal yun makina,dinala ko na ito sa toyota inadjust lang ang clutch pero ganun pa din.1.5 G/manual/2013 po ang avanza ko.TIA

Try nyo change ng fuel 95 octane.

Sir may misfire. Try mo check muna ang mga socket ng ignition coil at fuel injector Baka my lumuwag.

biglang tumataas ang idling mag isa umaabot ng 2 then minsan naman sobrang baba at namamatay ang engine (off aircon)

if naka on aircon, yun automatic nya on and off sya ng on and off..

ano kaya problem nito?

thanks for the reply sir. sabi saken yun idle air control valve (iacv) daw papalitan (possible problem)

would cost 23k pag casa estimate =(

Sir Pag di pa actuator type ang Throttle body ang iac valve ay nkahiwalay at pwede irepair... Pag ETAC na sir madumi lang iyon pwede mo linisin lng ng carburator cleaner

My family will be travelling to ilocos for my lolo's death anniv and first time po namin to travel with our Avanza.
Baka po kasi kami mag-overload.

i do not know the answer, but..:
1. it's usually in the owner's manual.
2. try the toyota internet address.
3. talk to toyota.
4. they usually put in a safe number of seats, vis a vis max payload capacity.

btw, max speed? why would you want to do maximum speed when your loved ones are inside?

check the max load capacity marked on your tire sidewall. refer to Tire code article from wiki.

Tire code - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

example, if tire marking is "195/65R15 91H".

the max load rating is "91" = 615 kg/tire
the max speed rating is "H" = 210 km/hr

since there are 4 tires, 615 kg x 4 = 2460 kg

subtract the curb weight of the vehicle (1100 kg according to Avanza brochure).

max payload = 2460 - 1100 = 1360 kg (passengers and cargo)

remember to inflate the tires to proper pressure (PSI) suggested by Toyota and keep the speed within road legal limits.

Addendum:

I re-checked the Avanza brochure again and there is a Gross Weight spec.

Gross Weight = Curb Weight + Payload

Avanza Curb Weight = 1100 kg
Avanza Gross Weight = 1700 kg

Payload = 1700 - 1100 kg = 600kg (passengers and cargo) as recommended by Toyota

Use this instead of the computed payload in my previous post (which uses max load rating for the tires).

sir, thanks for that info. pinalitan ko na yun idle actuator ng bago. hindi na ako sumugal na pa linis kasi mahirap tumirik. hehe

so far so good naman. nilinis narin yun throttle body ng carburator cleaner..

Sa max speed, hehe. Pinapatanong ng tatay ko po. Kasi travel from Pasig to Ilocos Norte ay approx. 8-12hrs depende sa traffic.
My dad is suggesting to travel earlier kasi po baka 60kph lang takbo namin. Baka umabot ng 24hrs ang biyahe namin. Hehehe.

Hi, na-try na namin magtravel from Bulacan - Ilocos Norte - Bulacan. bale 5 adults and 1yr old baby kami and plus bags na mga 20-25kgs ang total weight.. so far okay naman ang speed namin I think average of 80kph kami sa nlex sctex and tplex.. di ko sure kasi nasa pinakalikod ako haha.. Hindi naman hirap sa mga paakyat, well siguro nasa diskarte na din nung driver namin.. mejo na stuck din pala kami sa heavy traffic somewhere Ilocos Sur nung papunta kaming Ilocos Norte kaya inabot kami ng 10hrs pero nung pabalik kami ng Bulacan mga 7-8hrs..
