Mga Sir, good pm po. Tanong ko lang po sana tunkol sa Avanza 1.3L E A/T nag paplano po kasi kumuha may nagsabi po kasi samin na malakas daw sa gas yung 1.3L dahil sa underpowered tapos A/T pa kaya kung mag A/T lang kami 1.5L na lang daw. Tanong ko lang po gano po ba sya kalakas sa gas? mga ilang km/L kaya? and compare sa M/T gano kalakas sa gas yung A/T? salamat po.

eto nga po pala reasons bakit 1.3L A/T sana gusto namin:

1) convenience sa traffic
2) mostly 2 to 4 medium built people lang laging sasakay
3) city driving lang mostly, kung babyahe kami ng province e 1-2 x a year lang.

di po ako owner ng avanza, pero sa scenario mo, i think you should get the 1.5L engine, matic or auto. kasi kung 1.3L ka ok na ok sa 2pax halos minimal tama sa fc mo (i have 1.3g beyos), pero medyo ramdam mo difference sa 3 and above pax. yan ang ramdam mong underpower.

then mafrustrate ka kasi mafefeel mo malakas a gas lalo na at puno, since nasubukan mo na din sya ng hindi puno na matipid. (13KPL ako daily, pero pag kasama ko wifey and baby mga 12.88KPL, pag full pax with bagahe, ~10KPL ako).

Thanks po sa reply, am dito po kami ngayon sa saudi yaris 1.3 gamit namin vios rin po ata yun. ramdam nga pag 3 na sakay manual pa gamit namin. hehehe... pero kinakaya pa naman. nisip ko lang kasi sir me nabasa rin ako dito na minimal lang daw yung difference ng power ng 1.5 sa 1.3 unless lagi ka daw aakyat na baguio at puno lagi. halos di daw ramdam di sulit yung extra price. am...ano po yung vios niyo manual ba sir?

gusto ko rin kasi malaman comparison ng FC ng 1.3/1.5L A/T sa manual engine on same circumstance. like consumption ba ng 1.3/1.5L A/T e katumabas ba ng 2.0/2.5L M/T? parehong running on gas.

depende san mo gagamitin.. kung city driving, short distance, malakas din sa gas yung 1.5AT.. average ko for the past 6 years eh 7.76kms per liter.. that's 76,959.68 kms with 9,914.87 liters gas.. mga 90% city driving yan.. with occasional out of town trips mga 2 to 3x a year lang.. siguro given my route.. mas malakas consumption nang 1.3AT kasi mas mahina makina non.. di mo pwede i compare sa vios kasi mas magaan ang vios.. mabigat ang avanza.. kung gusto mo matipid sa gas.. mag 1.3 manual ka or 1.5 manual..

parang ok na rin po yun 7.73km/l para sa 1.5AT na avanza given mas mabigat pa sya kumpara sa ibang lighter na car? o hindi? sensya na po wala ko idea sa fc kasi sa mga nababasa ko po iba-iba rin situation ng ibang nababasa kong user ng ibang car model like jazz na 1.5L.

am, sa tipid na gas, medyo 2nd priority po namin, hangat mari po kasi gusto namin comfort sa traffic. madalas ang magiging route lang naman po namin, area lang ng cavite. if mag mamanila, very very seldom baka MOA o paranaque lang.

kung mag province trip po kami, mga 200km one way journey lang kami, max 3 person 55kg-60kg.

mag isa lang po kayo lagi dun FC nyo na yan o madalas may kasama kayo?

isa pa pala sir wala naman sya issue sa automatic transimission nya no? may nabasa kasi sa lumang jazz me issue ata?

sa umaga naghahatid ako kids sa school.. tapos non mag isa na ako going to office and sa hapon going home.. ok naman yung automatic transmission nang Avanza.. di ko pa nasubukan yung 1.3 a/t pero yung 1.5 ok naman sa arangkada.. walang problema..

Jazz CVT iyon. 7 speed. sa newer variants ng jazz, balik sa typical 4 speed a/t

sir, no problem with arangkada for my 1.3J MT. syanga pala po, meron po bang modifications for the 1.3? tuning parts, etc.?

unleaded din yan sir.. higher RON lang.. regular unleaded is RON 93.. RON 95 or 97 yata yan.. same with Caltex Gold and Shell V-Power na 99 RON naman..

Just owned a 2013 "improved" Avanza E variant in exchange to our Zuke Jimny
I guess you'll be seeing me here sa thread in the coming years. Am not much into modification but more on cost saving maintenance. So yun ang mga macocontribute ko dito. (Mga replacement parts, same exact parts from other car brands and the likes).

Planned ownership: 5 to 10 years

Expectations:

Better mileage.
Easy parts after 5 years.
No hassle in parts the next 5 years. Mga consumables lang dapat. Tires belts brakes. (I average 10t km a year)
Easy drive around the city and the occasional trip to Baguio.


Btw, this is gonna go head to head with our 5 year old APV, I guess for me its gonna be an interesting drive dahil Macocompare ko talaga yung dalawa.
Ill try to post a review if I have time.

Some do have blinking lights indicating that the alarm is armed.
You cannot really expect the salesman to know all the small details ng auto natin lalo na accessories.
Its best to call the accessory department and ask them your issue.
