Sir, my other car is a sedan. Im planning to buy an avanza coz im fetching my daughters to school & they have big school bags which i think fits on the third row. the other consideration is that my other car is already 13 years old. Its started to show all kinds of problems at the wrong time(nakakainis talaga). I also consider the price & specially the brand "Toyota". If it can accomodate 7 adults then i think it can cater my needs. How about its "hatak" ?Malakas ba yun hatak ng Avanza even its only 1.3?

    Vanzy have good FC.
Built quality is also good considering its price.
Vanzy have higher ground clearance compared to sedans (advantage kapag baha).
Vanzy is a practical vehicle, not a speed monster, does not come with luxury comforts, but it will get you or seven of you from point A to point B.
Ok I'm convince already. tom i'll start to inquire avanza. Thanks.

Most of the members of ACP use the Avanza as a family car and for going to work. It is very practical since is easy to drive and can accomodate 7-8 adults.

Tried to climb 35 degrees hill with 3 other adults, kayang kaya. Pwedeng ma-fold and 3rd row, kasyang kasya kahit 6 big school bags.

And one thing I experienced with my other car kung sobra ang pressure(psi) ng front wheel, mas malambot or magaan ang steering wheel and vice versa kung under pressure mas matigas konti.

sir, nagiging experience ko iyan with my yotoya taramaw ekis. pag tumatakbo na ako mga 120, medyo gumagaan na ang steering wheel, though pawis steering pa ito. ang paliwanag sa akin is that, the aerodynamic effect of the wind pushing to the windscreen, resulting to the lifting of the frontal portion of the car thus the lightening of tension on the steering wheel. ang remedyo is tinaasan ko ang shackle sa likod, the one holding the leaf springs. komo ang vanzy ay coil spring ang suspension nito sa likod, i have no idea on how to lift the rear portion of vanzy.

Sir i went to a toyota showroom this morning, they show me a brochure of the avanza. Im not a technical person so i dont quite understand the big difference between 1.3 & 1.5 model. but due to my budget limit i choose the 1.3j champagne color. I told them i want to get it asap. therefore they told me by tuesday or wednesday i could get it.

The avanza is not a speed monster, but kadalasan i cruise at 100 to 120 sa SLEX. Some times i push it to 140+ if I want to. fastest i have been is 155 with 8 on board sa SCTEx. FC ko ay nasa 13 Km/l. mixed city and hi-way.

Congrats on the purchase. If I am not mistaken, the Avanza is a vehicle with the most accessories. Iwas gigil lang ha. :D

Isa sa nagustohan ko sa Avanza is the agility sa pag liko. very nice turning radius. dali sa maneobra.

Flexible, kasi puwede either tao or cargo ang isasakay sa 3rd row.

    TIA

Ok sir thank for the inputs i really need all your suggestions. One thing i catch my attention also is this "VVT-I" what is VVT-I? I just want to know in simple language what is it. Coz as far as the SA that entertains me he is more interested in selling the unit rather than to explain vividly what is VVTI. Anyway i understand SA if he has a hard time to explain it to me.

    Kung rust warranty:
    1.) spoiler

1.) spoiler with 3rd break light
    2.) stepboard with LED(light)

    1.) mudguard
    2.) Garnish
    3.) Lahat na ididikit.(Rainvisor/sticker/etc)
4.) Shark Roof Caddy(no holes needed)
5.) Shark Stepboard w/o Light(no holes needed parin eto), kaya lang expect sa yupi nito after a month.

    VVT-i = Variable Valve Timing - Intelligent

At low RPM, pinakamatipid pag walang overlap.

More overlap means more power (ewan kung bakit) but lesser FC.

Since walang distributor (and of course, hi tension wires) ang computer ng makina ay puwedeng baguhin kung kailan mag fire ang spark plugs. Puwedeng sakto or advanced. if I remember correctly, pag E10, dapat advanced ng konti para mas efficient kaysa sa sakto.

Once tapos na ang 3 yr warranty in 10 months, I am considering Auto LPG. The best cost per km. (mas cheaper, ROI for me will be slightly more than 1 year sa lakas kong gumamit)

Agree ako sa lahat ng ito. :D

less than 1 month after kong nabili ang avanza ko, sa casa ako nagpakabit ng alam, power door locks, spoiler with 3rd brake light at fog lamps. parang 33K ang damage ko that time.

Sa labas ng casa ako nagpakabit ng simota air filter and tube. replace the original front speakers and add additional rear speakers. add power side mirror, add mud guard, add stabilizer bar. DIY ang overhead console, LED cabin lights, replace stock headlight with philips xtreme.

    hehehehehe :D
