hi guys...

met an accident last night in edsa.. in front of corinthians gate

ill make the story short.. there were 4 cars.. avanza was car number 2. Bus number 4 hit van number 3.. and van number 3 hit avanza like three times.. OUCH...

back part damaged.. good thing wala nabasag na salamin. but i could not open the back door.. kahit de-susi ang pag bukas. front part medyo nakausli ung bumper sa right side, tumagas ung tubig from radiator (ubos na ung coolant), hindi na gumagana ung alarm. so far un lang ang alam ko.

but no one was hurt and there is a police report na rin. hassle lng..

Ang vanzy ni misis, nadale ng bus kaya hanggang ngayon, nasa casa pa. Palit front right fender, front right door, right side mirror, then painting on the right side. Mga 10 days daw to repair. So, di ko madadala iyan pa-uwi, lagi kasi kami nag-RO-RO.
BTW, pinalagyan ko ng stainless steel bulbar ang likod, and it is really a big help. last March, nabangga ng motorsiklo and likod, halos wasak ag front ng mortorsiklo but only a slight dent sa bullbar. Kung wala iyon, malamang malaking damage ang bumper.

Sorry to hear about your avanzy! and thanks to god that your a safe! talagang di natin ma forecast ang accident. Guess malaking gastusan yan even insured meron paring participation! ingat nalang sa susunod ..

Sorry to hear about the bad news din...magkano ang iskor mo sa stainless bullbar back protection? laking bagay nga yan imagine wasak yong babanga.

sir sascha, to answer your question...i think hanggang sa ika-5th year ng vanzy natin, require ang comprehensive insurance (check LTO website na lang, meron ata doon). magkano ba yung comp. insurance mo ngayon and anong insurance company? (if i may ask)

Afaik, hanggat di pa tapos ang hulog. Alam ko di papayag banko pag di compre ang unit mo

It will greatly depend on your location. If with in MM, you can get several a quote from different dealers for comparison and to get the best deal.

If your location is provincial, it can be hard to get a quote from 2 dealers.

Once you get a quote/s, please post them here and we can give you some advice.

sorry guys. cant make it to the fun run tomorrow. I left vanzie sa casa for the 1k maintenance thing... 4pm ko pa makukuha... sayang next time na lang ako join... or sa next na EB kung meron.

quezon city po. one time payment. any agent/dealer you know who can give me my money's (though very limited) worth? of course madaming dealers in my area. but i think most of you here have been through many dealers and their gimmicks/sales pitches before you decided where to make the actual purchase. i can't go around much, so i was hoping that forum members could help me decide intelligently, kasi kayo ang may experience. thanks, by the way. pag may vanzie na ako, a-eyeball na rin ako, hehehe.

Anyway, hindi ko pa talaga ipapa-engine wash si Vanzie. I compared my Vanzie's engine malinis pa compared sa mga co-ACP pag nagbubukasan during EBs. I make sure I wipe the engine at least every weekend... lately though sa sobrang busy monthly na lang....

Underwash lang po talaga yung priority kong gawin kasi one year na si Vanzie di pa sya nakakatikim ng underwash. Eh lately madalas kong naidadaan sa tubigan at gusto ko rin masilip yung paint job sa ilalim na ginawa the past few weeks....twice ko sya binalik sa casa kasi may nami-miss silang spot na may kalawang pa rin due to the defective batt.
