hi to everyone,

Very busy so ngaun lang ulit naka post.
I need to spread this out. Just this 1230 pm today in a secured car park of South Super Hiway MEdical Center, after my driver turned his back, thieves broke my right rear passenger window, took out my operating room bag which they thought maraming laman. E pang opera ko lang yung andun na scrub suit. Thank god hindi nila dinali driver ko.
These guys working along south area. I grew up in BF pque and they are breaking into every car they know has a bag at the rear. Lalo na yung mukhang laptop bag. Kaya Ingat, Ingat.
Napapa iyak ako. sobra alaga avanza ko. Ayan a little scratch and broken window.

I feel sorry for you Doc. Tsk...tsk..Walastik talaga mga masasamang elemento ngayun. How come the security in that area had allowed strangers inside, akala ko ba secured parking area. Parang "with connections" ah.

Hi All,

Been lurking on this thread for quite a while to get information/tips in getting my own avanza. Very very useful talaga itong thread na ito. First time (new) car owner (before kasi may 2nd hand na van for commercial purposes).
The releasing for our Avanza was very fast. Reserved by 28 and released by 30. malaki na rin ang discount although in-house nga lang (i believe mas mababa pag bank, pero hinahabol ko kasi promo/discount nila last november).
Thank you for all of the very useful post especially sa list of things to check sa unit.
Please add me also sa members... TIA (pero baka ala ko masyado maitulong sa tips kasi ala pa ko masyado alam sa sasakyan) But hopefully i can help on some other things.
For my upgrades.. ala pa.. manganganak si kumander eh/lipat sa new house (reason for us to get an avanza)

Hi gensi311. I really appreciate that you shared this because it could happen to any of us. Much more important nobody was hurt in the incident. This serves as a reminder that thieves nowadays are resolving to desperate tactics. Kailangan talaga let's try to deprive them of any motive na pag-interesan ang vehicles natin. Kailangan concealed from view ang anything that looks something of value inside the car.

baguhin natin yong font ng avanza yong standard na nasa sticker na ginawa mo. alam mo ba akong anong type ng font? or sino sa inyo ang nakakalam ng font type ng avanza tulong naman di ko makita.

Send ko sa'yo yung ginagamit ko. Baka mapaganda mo pa. Iba talaga yung font ng Avanza. Wala rin akong makuha.

Sorry to hear that doc. Good thing eh wala naman sinaktan. Dami na talagang mga tamad ngayon gusto ay easy money na lang. Thanks for sharing this.

Hindi ba gumagana yung alarm pag binasag yung windows? If so, kelangan din siguro i-upgrade ko na yung alarm system ko.

With regards sa insurance, meron nag quote for my Avanza 1.5G for just P13,000. MAPFRE / Insular yung pangalang ng kompanya. P630,000 daw yung coverage. Nag search ako dito sa tsikot regarding MAPFRE at medyo ok naman ang review. Not sure kung kasama Acts of God, I'll ask my wife kung kasama AOG dun sa ahente. Insular din kasi yung pension plan namin kaya baka dun na rin kami kukuha. Next week na kasi due yung car insurance ko.

congrats, pareho pala tayo me bago pambayad utang hihihi. Buti ka pa may kuha ka sa delivery room. ako di tinawag nung nurse sa room. Sitting pretty ako nagbabasa intay ng intay. Nung kinamusta ko nakapanganak na daw 2 hours ago, tapos nasa recovery room na daw. Olats!

Hehehe.... takot nga ako bakit pinatawag ako sa delivery room.... yun pala parang gusto na sya i-CS, kasi hirap na..... sabi ng OB, gusto mo tignan mo muna.... nung nandun nako aba, 3 iri lang... lumabas na Angel ko.... parang gusto lang ata ng may camera pag lumabas sya... hEHEHE.... OT na...

para di OT, kinabit ko na kanina yung carseat ng baby, oks naman sya, pabaligtad pala talaga ang kabit, nakatalikod sa driver...

Mukhang ok din yang Generali. World's fourth biggest Insurance daw yan as per Philppine Daily Inquirer. Partner yata yan ng Banco de Oro.

Ako nga rin, naghahanap-hanap ng avanza font sa internet, hanggang ngaun wala pa rin mahanap...tyaga-tyaga lang muna at baka mahanap din kalaunan na Mr. Google...

I suggest saturday morning na lang para di pa gaanong mainit ang araw for pictorial with fellow avanzers at baka din meron pang ibang lakad si Sir Marfin sa hapon...
