The thing with turbodiesels is that even a low powered one like the old Innova 2.5 still feels sprightly because of the abundance of mid-range torque.
Even on steep uphills with a full load, the Fort 2.4 feels very responsive and not underpowered. It loses steam after 3500 rpm but staying within 2000-3000 rpm is enough to get you going up to triple digit speeds.
0-100 times of the Fort 2.4 is slower than a Montero 2.4 or MUX 3.0, but real world driveability is still very good. All current PPVs have adequate power for Philippine roads. These cars aren't made for straight line performance anyway.
All PPVs for me are ubiquitous. They outsell almost all other car segments so even the poor selling MUX still outsells the bestselling crossover (CRV) or compact sedan (Civic).
