Odometer tampered! HELP!

Sorry po. Hmmm wala naman po akong napansin na sobrang big deal na problema sir. Heto lang po mga concern ko sa car, ung cable pagbukas sa trunk sa likod nagpapapalit, ung control sa window sa back right di nagana. Tapos scratches here and there. Tyaka po ung fan belt, mga first 5 minutes pag bubuksan mo ung sasakyan medyo nag ssqueal, di ko po alam kung baket. Bago palang naman ung fan belt kasi po tinignan ko di pa nga nabura ung brand sa mismong belt e, malinaw pa pagkakasulat. Di ko rin po alam bakit ginagawa niya un. Tapos ung fan po naka rekta po siya pag binuksan ung kotse. Di nakaconnect sa thermostat. Di ko pa din napatignan un kung papaconnect ko paba sa thermostat or okay naman na ganun. Un lang naman po sir.

-some freshly installed belt systems might need some bedding-in; it is normal to have it re-adjusted after a few km. but i believe the altis is a serpentine belt... the squeal might not be the belt. it might be an idler bearing.
-the power window can be repaired. 2K siguro, by personal experience. hindi na ako nag-haggle, e.
-fix or change the trunk cable.
-have the thermostat and fan restored to factory spec. it's not that expensive.

all in all, all those above will probably cost considerably less than the lawyer's acceptance fee.

Yung nabili kong oto, di ako naniniwala sa indicated mileage sa odometer niya. Pero since nabili ko ng mura, at yun lang naman pinagdududahan ko, I just let it go na lang. Other than that, I think I got my money's worth naman. To the TS, when you match the indicated mileage with the car's condition... could you say that it looks the part naman?

i was about to suggest an excursion to banawe, QC. but i see you are from out of town...
nevertheless, drive out of the house by sun-up and go to banawe in QC, with moolah. i am confident, hindi a-abutin yan ng 1/2 day. when i brought my altis there, i was pleasantly surprised at the plentiful of knowledgeable mechanics, and availability and cheap cost of parts. choose a shop with its own parking space.
but BE WARNED. there are many glib salesmen there. be sure you do only what you set out to do.

Sir, maraming salamat po. Kahit sobrang naiinis at nalulungkot ako sa nangyari medyo gumagaan pakiramdam ko dahil sa mga comment at tulong/suggestions niyo. Sobrang thank you! ngaun po pinagiisipan ko mabuti kung anong magandang gawin if ibebenta ko ba siya or hindi. I don't mind losing 10-15k nung price na binayad ko, basta makuha ko lang siguro ung most ng naipon ko. Pinaghirapan ko po kase un. 25 years old lang po ako and baguhan lang sa kotse, pangarap ko lang talaga magkakotse kaya bumili ako.

About po sa squeal na naririnig ko, iniisip ko rin po pano ko maipapagawa un. Hindi ko po kase marereplicate ung issue kapag dinala ko sa shop kase umandar na ung makina pag dating ko dun e, kapag inistart dun wala ng maririnig na sound. Not unless iwan ko muna dun for few hours siguro tapos start ko ulet.
