mods, pls merge this to the exsiting thread about the Fortuner. To answer your question, it is almost the same size as the Everest and montero.

Fortuner bridges the gap between Rav4 and Prado. Its like the Everest, it bridges the gap between the Escape and Explorer.Originally Posted by effone
Fortuner is also based on the IMV platform which the Innova and Hilux uses.
Is this the fortuner?

The Fortuner in Bangkok is available with two engine options - a 2.7 liter gas engine and the much talked about 3.0 liter CRDI engine with 163 horses. Just don't know if TMP will offer both in the Philippines.Originally Posted by ILuvDetailing
Yup this is it. Personally I like the way it looks. I've seen quite a number here in Bangkok. Machong macho ang dating.

Baiskee,
I was the one who told Doy to wait for the Fortuner. I told him that its going to be worth the wait. I also recommended to get the one with a 3.0l CRDI engine.
I got the Isuzu Adventure Master (Elegance series) here as my company car. I would have preferred the Fortuner but the interior width space is a tad smaller than my requirement. Since I lug around 3 kids, a nanny, and the wife, I needed a rig with a real 7 seat capacity. The 3rd row of the Fortuner here in Bangkok have jump seats so it's a bit smaller than the "real" seats on the 3rd row of the Isuzu.
Here's a pic. Hope it works.

I can't post a larger pic. Anyway, just go to my gallery in the "members gallery" to check out the larger pic.
