November 22nd, 2011 01:55 PM #1Hello Revo owners! Bago din lang ako dito, I just bought a second hand Revo SRJ with a 2.0 engine last June, giving up my corolla car for this. Ang mapapansin mo not only to an AUV but also sa mga vans (I used to commute TTh riding in vans, dala ko revo MWF) ay talagang matagtag especially sa uneven roads pag konti ang laman. Ang problema ko naman ay with regard to steering. Medyo malambot yung aking steering, medyo hindi sya responsive gaano or sloppy. Nagpalit na ako ng tie rods and rack ends at bearing. Nabawasan ung pagiging sloppy nya pero di pa rin gaano natatangal, especially pag irregular yung rod surface parang pumapaling ng konti, so I need to exert a little effort para lang magremain cya onstraight line path.

at syempre after maayos kelangan ng wheel alignment.

November 22nd, 2011 11:34 PM #5I drive our 2001 Revo alone most of the time. I don't find it matagtag at all. At least while seated at the front hindi matagtag. No such steering problem too with our Revo. The steering is not as taut as those in sedans and CUVs but its pretty livable actually and not something to worry about. The steering in recirculating ball and nut systems are much worse. There is no free play dapat sa steering ng Revo and its very precise. Like the above posts suggested, have the rack and pinion checked and also check if you are in need of an alignment.

November 23rd, 2011 10:04 AM #6Thanks for your replies guys. Madali ba masira yung rack and pinion or kung durable man sya, are there othere steering componenmts that need adjustments and replacements? I purcahsed the my revo with 98,000 plus on its odometer and still looks new, sariwa inside and out.
malas ng omoda ph. di pa sila nagsisimula, may issue na. too bad since Chery under UAAGI has been...
