    Sa mga old hiluxes na kakadebut pa lang. Mine is 20 years old. Here is my list na replaced parts at pre 300k. Sa mga umabot na ng 400k plus.. paki add na lang po.

    Timing belt / tensioners ( 2nd change at 282400

    4 Rubber caps Brake master cylinder

    Aircon evaporator 3500
    1 headlight ( replaced with koito semi sealed )

    Upper arm bushings ( machine press oem ) 1300

    1 oem anchor bolt sa torsion rear passenger side ( naputol during uninstallation malamang nag seized ) 1200

    May ganyan ako dati sold last year at 280k kms. Major parts lang napalitan is yung velocity joint ng 4wd nya. Kung marami lang mola diko benta yun.

    share ko din yung sakin, kaso 4x2 lang. LN85

    currently at 388+++ kms. lapit na mag 400k kms.

    -twice nagpalit timing belt.
    -nabasagan ng gear pulley kasama sa timing belt (hindi ko alam tawag)
    -palit ako ng gear dun sa likod ng crankshaft main pulley (ito yung takip sa oil seal)
    -twice nagpalit clutch disc, pressure plate, at release bearing
    -palit ng center bearing (yung sa dugtungan ng driveshaft)

    maybe we can add the LN106 series (1990-1997)? same 3L engine and tranny as the LN166 but the front is Solid Axle.... I own one now purchased brandnew year 1997..

    Nadiscover yung basag na idler pulley nung nag timing belt change?

    hindi sir. bigla na lang one morning, pag start ko, lakas ng knocking sound sa harap, pina open ko na lang. pag bukas, konti na lang, mapuputol na timing belt, buti na lang hindi ko pa pinilit ibyahe.

    mga nasa 8k din siya, OEM pinalit ko.

    Yes .. idler sub assembly ( actually geared lang din na pulley where the ngipin side ng belt runs) in between sa camshaft and crankshaft na tensioned pa rin ng isa pang tensioner (runs sa smooth side ng belt).

    Timing belt costs 2400 dito sa amin orig outside casa. Meron sun na brand ( japan oem . High quality. 980. Best buy din sabi ng mga mechanic dahil subok na) bihira din mamutol ng mga timing belt ang mga 3L. Insist ng taga toyozu kahit ipaabot mo 300k me sure allowance pa yan kahit mga 10k .

    Ala pa pinalitan sa drive train ( ball joint still factory)
    Front axles cv joint still untouched.


    Nozzles.
    Papa abot ko lng 300k then palit ng nozzles .. less than 25kph max speed and halos 3 km lng ave trip .. bagal lagi takbo din sa amin probinsya kaya bihira ako maka 7km per liter
    Highway mga 13.5 konsumo unlike dati mga 16 hataw pa yan.

    Musta fuel economy before ng ride mo when it was nearing 300k?

    sir 282k na dash ko sa hilux 2003 model, 8km/l konsumo ng makina ko, 3l din na non turbo. may difference kaya pag nagpa recalibrate ako ng injection pump para sana tumipid? tya

    ^ Maganda makita muna ng mekaniko. Kung sa pump or baka malakas na singaw sa piston or valves.

    Baka barado na kasi mga injectors niyan dala ng edad. Kaya kung naging makupad sa arangkada, ang tendency ay umapak nang umapak sa silinyador para mas gumanda buwelo kaya lang lumalakas naman yung konsumo. Posibilidad lang pero baka sanhi din nga yun.

    We have test driven one nung 1997. Used one lakas pa rin. Nilagyan ng maliliit gulong. Equipped nung me ari ng remote engine start. Indi lang natuloy bilhin dahil kulang mga papeles.

    Saw one din a model before LN106 .. Chief mechanic sa toyozu davao ang owner.

    Hi sir. My LN106 has clocked just a shade under 100K km. On 3" lift with skyjacker springs and Rancho RS9000X on four corners. These particular generations of Hilux (LN106 and LN166) were Made in Japan. Unlike the succeeding models which were made in Thailand. What parts did I change? the Clutch slave and the LSPV. Probably because its not used regularly. Planning on putting ARB front and rear bumpers if budget allows...

    350 bili ko dati mga 2 to 3 years ago, 300 naman labor.

    Magandang reference din dito sir sa mga pyesa re. MFN and OEM Part no.

    Sirs.. san kaya pwede makahanap ng ganitong tension spring ng clutch para sa mga locking hubs .. nadiscover namin ala cya nung binuksan yung isang side

    The best thing for you sir, is to buy a surplus unit in good condition. The other route is, if your Aisin Locking hub core is still ok, you can opt to order the missing parts at the casa. The thing is, should these parts be available at the casa, you may wait for it for weeks or so and they are probably more expensive than a surplus unit in good condition (plus the fact that these bulletproof hubs are sold in pairs in the surplus shops). The LN166 with IFS front has AISIN Lock Hubs with 26 fine splines vs 30 splines of the Aisin Hublock of the LN106 (which is also compatible with most Land Cruisers sporting solid axle upfront)....
