toyota avanza's common problems?

what are the common problems with your avanza?? its parts availability?? and your experiences with CASA?? TIA!!

So far wala naman problem ang Avanza, sarap idrive, iyong plastic pantakip sa butas ng foglight lang ang problema, mabilis malaglag at mawala

sir tanong ko lang ilang taon na po ba yung avanza mo??

4 year old 1.5AT Avanza. So far my only problem is that the horn sometimes (intermitent) does not work. Nawawala paminsan minsan. Since out of warranty na ang unit ko, di ko na pinagawa. Need to mess around with the airbag daw to fix it.

My brother who owns a Starex also has the same problem.

So far change oil, spark plugs and brake pads pa lang. All from casa. I'm sure madami nang parts available sa Banawe. Since the 1.3 is used as a taxi, I'm sure there are a lot of aftermarket parts available.

salamat po ng madami sa mga sagot ninyo.. yung sa makina, takbo and fuel consumption ok din po ba??? mas convenient po ba ito kaysa kumuha ng celerio or i10?? kasi pagdating sa maintenance po kasi yung iniisip ko eh.. yung seating capacity parang bonus na lang po.. hehe.. TIA!!

ok naman ang acceleration nya, mabilis din. FC will be 12-14 km/l on highway, 8-10 city driving, decent engine. so far maintenance will be a-ok. extra 2 seating capacity sa rear is a big plus; but if not needed, malaki ang rear space for cargoes. BTW, we own a 1.3J model.

first pick kasi namin talaga itong avanza eh.. sana makapagdecide na kami kung alin sa tatlo ang bibilhin namin.. celerio, hyundai i10 (2011), at avanza..
eto yung mga kaya ng budget eh.. sana makapili kmi ng maayos.. thanks!! salamat po!

1.5G AT, 3.5 years na, no other related problem except yun transmission ng binaha ni ondoy.
As for the 1.3J model di ko lang alam ang availability ng model na ito. A friend of mine plans to get one, 3 months in the waiting (he is abroad), pag dating niya bakasyon, di pa rin available ang 1.3J so he end up with a KIA. Kahit vios daw wala available ng time na yun (last summer)
