if you're not offroading, not towing a trailer or caravan, why buy these cars anyway? for showing off? hehe. and they're not safe either, high center of gravity makes them prone to rollovers. that's why i'd rather be daily driving a tesla or subaru. then beat the cr*p out of the jimny offroad hehe

Mainly for peace of mind ... given that driving in PH ... frequent floods, potholes, poor quality roads, PUVs, etc ... it's like an urban offroad adventure everyday ...

Ford Bronco ... removable top ... might cause issues in the future ... and it's not diesel ... as if someone who can afford a 6M vehicle will care about fuel cost ... but they do ...

Most modern cars hardly rollover ... when design properly ...

i've been driving around central luzon for decades on sedans (still drive a hatchback) and never had a problem w/ the roads so you definitely don't need a land cruiser just to get around. but i did get stuck once on a corolla, but that was offroad

If I had the money, I'll also get an LC. Perfect retirement gift for myself.

It also makes for a good heirloom to pass down to my favorite child. lol

Hard to imagine something as expensive as this one getting used daily for that purpose, even if it's known to be so capable... But in the end, still your car, your rules tho...

There are so many people dailying LCs.
If you check second hand market daming high mileage examples. 10 year old ones (2015) are at around 60k kms na, older than that and the cars are at 80-100k kms.
As mentioned in another thread my friend's was at 400k na a few weeks ago.

Yeah. Tbh, kaya naman. It's just that if used daily it could mean parking, weaving in and out of traffic or navigating in the city thru tight streets can be quite a chore. Pano ang laki kasi for the local roads imo. Pero winner if used for off-roads or long, provincial trips. Like baguio, etc. Pero despite that, they may have their own drivers with them too. So for them, it might not be a hassle at all.

one is always a winner, if one had a chauffeur doing the driving.
