Innova computer box issue

Ask ko lang po if na experience nyo na tumirik na lang bigla ang innova nyo then nung pinatingin namin eh computer box daw po sira, ito po ba ung issue sa innova?

actually sa friend ko po ung innova but im planning to get one as well kaso nakwento nya nga po sakin ung issue nya...innova j na dsl po ung sa kanya then di naman daw po nabaha, ride lang daw po sila along commonwealth then all of a sudden it just stopped so pina tow po nila tapos sabi nga sa casa eh computer box daw po but unfortunately 4 years na po ung car so di na covered nung warranty nila then they were quoted 150k for the repair

sobrang vague kasi yung "computer box" lang, mas maganda kung mas detailed ang sagot ng casa sa friend mo. tipong, computer box failed due to contaminated diesel, tapos may evidence nga na contaminated diesel. parang ganun

nung pina-tow po ba sa casa agad dinala? kung hindi D4D bug nga yan.

kasi may modus operandi din sa tow companies pag na impound, pinapalitan nila ng defective ECU yung saksakyan...kaya ingat sa mga

towing companies markahan nyo muna ECU nyo pag iniwan...

computer box? this is a first for me. never had a similar problem with my d4d, since 2005.
but i do believe that the casa people do not repair.. they replace. even if it can be repaired, they still replace. i guess this is to avoid backjobs. also good for business.

2008 model po sir and yes D4d engine po. Anu po ba ung d4d issue kasi marami din po nagsabi sakin na may recall nga daw po sa toyota nun ito po ba un..im planning to get innova din kasi kaso mejo napaisip ako dahil sa mga issue na sinasabi sakin..thanks

+1 kay sir CB, maganda nga 2nd opinion (and a little research) and dapat detailed explantion nga at hindi yung palit agad tapos sobrang mahal. Tapos hindi naman maayos pala. Talagang importante na mas mekaniko kang kakilala na alam mong hindi ka lang peperahan.
