Sir interior plastic parts of dubai version can withstand our climate here. While the euro version cannot. After a few years the plastic parts will fall off and degrade on their own.

Regarding the sunroof sir try to ask around and i think meron option na ganayan sa dubai version as well.

Got my lc200 grey market in buendia auto exchange. No warranty. And yes , toyota dealerships will not service your unit unless you know someone. But its a toyota. Its a landcruiser. Meaning its easy to service and built for conditions far far worse than metro manila roads.

The euro version has more bells and whistles and more importantly a more powerful diesel engine. I think its got about 45hp more than the dubai version (which i have). But i dont think it should be priced p1m more (which it is) ........ The dubai version diesel engine is powerful and torquey enough. And besides, this beast weighs over 6000 lbs. you're not going to race it and above 140kph it really gets floaty. Though ironically, i chipped mine and added alcohol injection hehehe. I know i contradicted myself there but oh well.....

It took them about 5 months to get me my plates. Not so sure how they would compare to a regular dealer.

The local version has a better guage cluster than the dubai version though the dubai version makes up for it with more bling.

Try Toyota Makati. I saw a LC200 which looked like the Dubai Version that had Toyota Makati plates attached. I think it even had a conduction sticker. Maybe Toyota Makati can do the importation for you and they might even provide the warranty and PMS.

Since toyota makati at toyota bicutan ay main distributor,

Yes!

    anyway to answer ts question.

    1. grey market lc's are better since it has more features.

    2. i got a discount on our lc from grey market

    3. besides what people here will say if you buy from certain grey market sellers what they will do is refer you to a toyota dealership that will still service your lc. yon nga lang no warranty from casa.

    4. around 15k kung change oil lang

    5. search the no plate no travel policy thread this isn't an issue.

    6. what do you mean? if in terms of carnap i think vios and fortuners mas maiinit sa mata ng mga carnapper. if in terms of the wow factor it's an lc it doesn't have that wow factor like european cars or big american suv's.

gaya nga ng sabi ng iba dito lc lang yan it's nothing special, buying and owning one is nothing special and no different from other regular cars.

    syangapala..

sa mindanao or other parts of visayas, mataas yung demand sa ganyang sasakyan. yung malakilaking grupo ang titira dyan. ito yung scenario- pag na-carnap yan babayaran ng insurance company yan on theft clause. so yung owner wala ng problema. the burden is transferred to the insurance company and the latter wouldn't care less, ini-insured din nila yan on re-insurance contract. maraming carnapped na sasakyan di na kini-claim, ino-auction yan pursuant to PD 1911.
