for the 4x2 variant i think 1 to 2 weeks lang. kaya lang puro special? and limited edition kuno!! ang available -- that means you add 60K for the leather seats.

    for the fortuner V 3.0 -- 8 months

    our bad

Galing ako sa Toyota Shaw-Ortigas kahapon. Sabi nila lahat daw 6 months....all variants. If I want 1-3 months, kuha daw ako ng in-house financing nila.

Not just any in-house financing. Dapat yung 20-30% downpayment and 3 to 4 years to pay. *()*!$#! ang taas ng interest, 30-40% interest rate.

    BLACKMAIL talaga!

BTW. 4x2 Gas lang ang hanap ko. I'm ok with the P50K for Audiovox DVD System. Or should I shop somewhere else?

Posted this in another thread last Feb 22, 2006, I think its quite relevant in answering your inquiry.

The downside, your reservation will take months and months, if not a year to process. The sales agents there wont be calling you for months on end, with any sort of updates or news at all. It is in your interest to keep on pestering them daily and let them know you are still alive.

On the other hand, if you go to the other dealers, the only recourse to get a unit is by accepting-or more like swallowing-their preposterous offer to you of lots of accessories or add-ons (tv,dvd, leather seats, gsm alarm, etc),insurance, and financing+chattel mortgage, which can all inflate the sticker price by Php250,000+. No that's not a joke or exaggeration. A dealer just quoted me that two days ago. All I can say is -go to hell-.

i think the delivery lead time differs according to branches... try inquiring with toyota alabang, ang last na update nila sa akin, it was reduced to less than 3 months na lang. Btw, before you buy, try to negotiate yung insurance nila, some branch can offer you far lesser premiums than dun sa nakaindicate nilang standard price list... as in malaki ang makukuha mong difference.

According to the SA, RAV4 4x4 and even 4x2 are much quicker than the Fortuner.

The Fortuner will definitely take months, if you're lucky or have been coerced to make a downpayment. The diesels are so much easier to get but the gas will take forever to acquire. Toyota has been deliberately slow in bringing in the gas and forcing everyone to get a less than ideal 2.5 diesel or a 3.0 diesel with an overpriced 4x4 system.

If you ask me, relative to the new 4x4 RAV4, the Fortuner isn't overpriced...
