body kit lang yan eh kaya nagmahal. get the "g" version, mas loaded yung interiors nun saka safety features, and then sa aftermarket ka na lang bumili ng bumper extenders, side skirts, and grills.

Toyota claims that the S is the sport edition of the Altis.But buy the G,The S is a waste of money...if Toyota wanted a Sport edition they could've improved the performance more than just putting leather seats and body kits....just my two cents

The Altis "S" is basically an Altis "J" that has been added with the ff items:

*Front bumper chin and Fog lamp
*Mesh type grill
*15" Alloy Wheel
*Rear bumper chin and spoiler
*2-Din 1-CD Audio System with MP3
*Leather Shift Knob
*4-spoke Leather Steering Wheel w/ red stitch trim
*Black "sporty" leather seats and door trims
*Color-keyed door handles
*TVSS w/keyless entry

Even Toyota's '96-'97 AE100 in TRD Stage I form was more sportier than this one. :D

Most of the extra bits are non-functional anyway.

For me, I'll just get the 'J' and put on foglamps and alloy wheels from the more expensive Corollas.

The 'S' is too boy racer for my age.

hmmm. fafa tep, matanda ka na ba? ang pagkakaalam ko, bata ka pa eh... hehehehe.

seriously, my friend owns an S... and yes.... number001's post is correct... it is basically a made-up J...

so if you are getting one, its either you get the G, or the J, and have the J made-up...
imho, parang bitin pa din yung 15" wheels ng S eh.... so if you are going to get the J, just put in a 17 incher, lower it by an inch, and it looks more beautiful than the S.
