Toyota on a breakaway lead in the Philippines

Based on CAMPI's latest report, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) can now sit back and relax as it secures a dominating lead over the local automotive industry. As it holds on to its No. 1 position with a firm grip, TMP just beat its own all-time record last October with 5,895 units sold.

Toyota also heads the Passenger Car (PC) segment with a 51.5% market share of 1,957 units, 1,466 of which were comprised of Toyota Vios', the country's No. 1 selling vehicle. In addition, the Japanese giant stretches its lead in the Commercial Vehicle (CV) category by registering its highest ever sales of 3,938 units sold last month, taking a 40.6% chunk of the market. Surprisingly, the Innova was able to increase its sales from the month of September with 1,317 units sold despite the looming arrival of its replacement next year.....
