Oh yeah, tried wiping it off with towel and water but to no avail. Might try the using kerosene like what sir xda2jojo recommended.

Mods kindly delete this thread nalang as many see this as irrelevant.

    Not me...

    [For RustyXIII]
What if i am a noob like janry1...
What if i am a lady and knows only how to drive my car...

The issue here is the damned QC(Quality Check, not Quezon City) of Toyota.
QC Area is the last location before ma-turn over ang sasakyan mo.
The marker won't remove using water and rugs,
Yes that marker is little thing to others who knows everything
What about if he/she knows nothing
Could be end up a "Destroy It Yourself" ...

I can't help but to react the so called "unworthy post/topic"...

    [To janry1]

The thread starter himself/herself acknowledged that this is irrelevant now. A little elbow grease will fix the problem. Why are you calling me out? Feel all fuzzy inside being a hero?

You said that you want to help the noob yet you suggest him going all the way back to the casa and demanding that they fix the "problem"? What about wasted gas, time, salary? All for some paint marks? Is this supposed to be noobie-friendly advice?

To the thread starter, be glad that they touched/fixed what you told them to. Those marks are a sign that you did not get swindled by being charged for a service that you didn't get. Be happy.

Now that's a total of three minutes I'm not getting back...

    I can't do anything but agree ...

It's just a mark. Try wiping it off with a lil' bit of kerosene since the water didn't budge.

Don't bring it to CASA. It would be a waste of time, gas and it wouldn't be worth it. They might even cost you for something you shouldn't be really paying for.

If you want, bring it to a car wash shop. Have it washed, and surely after that it will be then again clean and shiny.

No need to panic. It's nothing major.

What if kung di nya kayang tanggalin,

Sus...di ako hero..at lalong di ako troll.

The point is, that is a quality control mark. Kayang tanggalin. Let us not play what if games here.

If I see that mark, I am happy because may quality control sila.

I'm sorry to disappoint some of you gurus but I really don't know much about cars especially those things the casa do like what you said, signs of 'quality control'. You guys just don't know that a lot newbies like me share this stereotype that when you avail of casa's services, you will definitely have nothing to complain about afterwards. After all its CASA and you're paying loads of money for their quality service unlike the usual 'talyer' you see in the metro. Naging panatag kasi ako since I have seen the quality of service they provided my car during my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd PMS. Kaya after seeing this marks medyo nadisappoint ako. But as you people have said quality control marks = removable, then fine, thanks for mentioning and teaching a newbie like me.

Another thing is I never even dared to use kerosene in any parts of my car because for the reason that I don't know that kerosene is a useful tool in removing stains (since you mentioned it might as well give it a shot).

*sir xda2jojo, really thankful for being of great help and understanding the concerns of car dummies like me.

Don't worry the next time I post siguraduhin kong marami na akong alam sa mga kotse.

Being that unaware ka about what they do sa casa, agad sinabi na binaboy na kaagad lug nuts mo. So ang dating nga, super OC and panicking. People would take it better if you rather ask, "Ano ang ginawa nila sa lug nuts ko?".

Yup, I admit that was my bad. I realized na medyo masama nga ang title after posting the thread, tried editing it pero bawal pala. My bad for having realized too late the fact that some members might be from casa or have affiliations with them and might find this thread offensive, sorry. Anyway thanks for your advice, will keep that in mind in my future posts.
