May gusto lang akong malaman after reading this thread from page 1. Naguguluhan kasi ako sa mga codes.

1. Bakit may small body ang corolla? maliit ba body talaga?
2. eh yung bigbody malaki? ganun?
3. pano malalaman kung ae92 or ee90 or ee100 ang corolla? nakalagay ba sa VIN yun para malaman?

Hindi ako familiar kasi. Sensya na. Sa wikipedia naman puro E series ang nakalagay. Hindi ako makakita ng magandang website kaya naisipan kong magtanong.

Sabi din nung kapitbahay ko dito na may corolla xl. yung smallbody daw na corolla kaya smallbody ang tawag eh maliit yung makina. yung 2e daw. Kaya yung kanyang corolla xl eh small body daw kasi 2e yung makina. Lalo tuloy ako naguluhan. Anu ba talaga? makina ba or body?

Later model ae101 big body also had abs, airbags, and seatbelts for all occupants. The first time a local corolla had these features. Nissan had them on the Sentra one generation earlier.

the 89-90s model is the small body, because of its obviously smaller passenger space. i think this is the model that marked toyota's return to the philippines.
then came the bigger interior space, hence the "big body". this is also the model that had lea "incandescently in control".
then came the lovelife, supposedly because of its safety features for those who love life.
then the altis. i think it was the one playing ball..
each has its share of rabid fanatics..
