wala naman akong problema sa Avanza.. was looking for the cheapest A/T that can sit more than 5.. ni consider ko din ang Innova.. pero hindi ako kasya sa 3rd row nang Innova.. surprisingly kasya ako sa 3rd row nang Avanza.. so I got the Avanza G A/T.. bukod pa na mas mura sya sa cheapest Innova A/T that time.. up to now satisfied pa din ako.. btw this is our 1st car.

Reason bakit ako kumuha ng avanza:
2.) When we test drive both Innova and Avanza, Avanza pinili namin, mas hiyang kami sa pagdrive.
When the 3rd row set folded, mas maluwag ang avanza kaysa Innova.
I am using our Company Car na Innova when I am assigned at Subic, sabi ko sa sarili, eto ang bibilhin ko But when I tried driving my brod Avanza, I change my mind(plus of course the reason above).
No regrets...Kung magkapera uli ako, between the two, Avanza uli kunin ko.

Luging lugi ka kung ibebenta mo... right after you've bought it. Just keep it.
I don't know what you guys are complaining about. I ran an Avanza 1.5 for a week, and while the suspension is soft, it's not terribly bouncy. Not as heavy and stable as the Innova, but not Crosswind bouncy.
The Innova isn't bouncy, really... but it's stiff. If you drive over harsh roads every day, like the SLEX, it can get tiring... I think James Deakin even noted during his Nautical Run articles that his son got carsick from the "tagtag" when they were chasing down those sportscars over the broken roads down south.
+1 on meledson... higher commision. ...yes, the Innova is a bigger, more solid car... but it costs quite a bit more, spec-to-spec so it should be.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

*niky,
pag soft, the car bounces? Pag stiff ramdam mo lahat ng dips and bumps?
I do drive sa SLEX everyday.Last edited by meledson; January 27th, 2010 at 10:02 AM.

Maybe it's his driving B) He seems like a tell-it-like-it-is kinda guy though.
From my limited experience, matagtag ung innova. i was kinda concerned when my grandma had to ride in one. Buti inalalayan ng driver, dahan dahan talaga pag negotiate ng lubak.
then again...isn't it just a matter of changing the suspension thingy? Di naman mavovoid ung warranty di ba?

January 27th, 2010 11:51 AM #19Ako din noon pili talaga between Innova and Avanza.

A car can be soft but not bouncy... like the Corolla.
It can be soft and bouncy... like the Sorento or old Starex.
Having driven the Avanza a few times (on the SLEX, which is good at making cars bounce), I didn't gather the impression that it was soft and bouncy.
But the Innova feels rather stiff and bouncy on the SLEX. Not as bad as older AUVs, but it's there.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Choice I would have made as well.
2024 Innova Zenix 2.0 V CVT (non-HEV) vs Innova...
