any real world reviews na about this? looking at the G or either the hr-v E.

70% of the time only two people will be riding it, the other 30 it will be four

we are for durability and T badge, it will stay primarily in the mountains. not really interested in performance, i drove a 1.8L Corolla in a Guam-loop with four adults and found it adequate lol. are there any toyotas sharing the same 1.8L engine... i believe the Altis uses a 1.6L?

I am not a Toyota fan, but this I like, most especially the Hybrid.

With a combined output of 122hp, I guess it won’t make smiles in terms of zoom-zoom sensation on spirited drives. Toyota could have done better. As per reports, a 2.0L hybrid engine will be used in the global 2022 model which makes around a combined output of 200hp.

me and this corolla cross were leaving a checkpoint and the it blasted off to arou d 160kph like a rocket. my 2nd and 3rd and 4th gear were screaming together with the aging engine. some cvts are good and effortless to some speed.

he slowed down to 120kph before the speed trap. i was doing 127kph knowing ill just get a warning flash overtaking

joined their FB Group a couple of months back to see how local units are doing.

For me, it only needs a 360 camera and wireless CarPlay to be perfect.
Pero my wife likes the GR Version so 99% this will be our next car purchase.

Does the hybrid variant still uses the typical car lead-acid battery or no more? It's electrical source for starting the car will come from the hybrid battery system?

This guy bought the T Cross Hybrid. He claimed with some math that after 5 years the 300k+ additional price tag of the hybrid will be recovered based on the fuel savings. Seems too good to be true.

He also said Toyota PH is now giving the hybrid batter 8 years warranty. True?

A source from Toyota said that the Corolla Cross Hybrid 2L, Li-On battery variant is coming here in 2023.

Same car but new battery and revised headlight, tail lamps and rear badging.

wow... I hope they add a 360 camera.

planning to get this car (hybrid) for my wife but we don't feel the need for it now as we're not yet 100% reporting to office.

hopefully a better version is available when its time to make the purchase.

as per Toyota, the battery will last the lifespan of the car. not unless you plan to use the car for more than 20 years!

That's expensive. Enjoy the last decade or so of pure ICE vehicles. By the 2030s it will most likely only be hybrids and EVs (which have much larger and much more expensive battery packs). In the US some EV battery packs can go over $20K (P1.125M).

Let's hope they develop cheaper battery tech ASAP.

when I bought my car 3 years ago... I was hoping to buy a manual Corolla or Civic 10 years later. I told my wife and daughter its going to be my last ride before we all go electric.

Now, wala nang Manual!

and if things don't change, looks like electric na din kapalit ng car ko.

This guy used 6 kms/liter, 10k kilometers per year and 70 kesos per liter for comparison. So in my case where my gas car uses 9 kpl and 5k kms a year, medyo matagal ang antayan to break even, lalo na pag bumaba below 70 ang gas.

yup. pero the Hybrid Corolla Cross is a way better equipped car compared to its non-hybrid version. kaya we should also factor that in when making the comparison.

then there's the part where hindi ka maghihinayang to keep the A/C running when doing quick stops (7-11, ATM etc)
