my SA told me that after december 2013, hindi na makakapili ng EP.
but another source says we can choose instead, to buy a special plate with our choice of EP. i just forget the price...

Break-in done, now at 1,200 km ODO. PMS scheduled this Saturday.

Wanting to upgrade the meep meep horn. LOL. ;-)

Have not found time to really monitor the FC yet. I'm thinking less than 10km per liter, I maybe wrong.

1800 full tank from Angeles to Makati to Las Pinas then back to Makati, and it was 1/4 down.

It seems I am starting to hear the dashboard rattling sound. Pinapakinggan ko, hindi kaya yung mga wipers ang nag ba-vibrate sa windshield tapos yun ang nag ca-cause ng sound?

ODO at 1300kms and 1K PMS also scheduled this Saturday. Tagal ko umabot sa 1K, umabot ng almost 5mos :D

Nope. My wife is.

Currently in Makati Belair for the 1k checkup. Was quoted 2,200 for the change oil and new filter.

Is it just me, but I find this new generation Vios a bit less disappointing mostly the interior.

Last month, I had a chance to test drive it when a family friend lend theirs for my cousin's wedding. First thing I check is the interior knowing already it also has same specs and platform as the previous gen.

The dashboard caught my attention first. Tho it was never the 'center' thingy anymore. But the gauge was a bit outdated. The previous gen still has the look. Next the lamp, on the previous gen there were two; center and front (on top of rear mirror). The new gen has now only one, combined center and front. The last one, yung center compartment. It's now small parang lagayan nalang siya ng barya. So overall, parang tinipid nila ung interior and make it look bigger than the previous gen.

That's all. I maybe be picky but I still find the old interior design useful., atleast for me.

I think the Gen 1's gauges were the best-looking. The Gen 2 was slightly downgraded. The Gen 3 with it's big-a$$ gas gauge doesn't do it for me.

Me too. I think I heard that "tok" sound when I am going out of the parking, at naka incline uphill and the steering wheel is rotated to turn right. There also seems to be a rattling sound coming from the suspension kapag nakaka encounter ng lubak and running at 20 km/h. Ang tunog niya ay parang shock na palitin na. Hindi naman ganon kalakasan ang tunog pero this is definitely not something that you would want to hear from a brand new car. I have used and driven Gen 1 (1.3E M/T), and Gen 2 (1.5G M/T) Vios but have not heard this type of sound from their front suspension when running on humps, bumps and potholes. This model seems to be poorly built. Some of the parts are now plastic and the metal frame inside the engine compartment are obviously thinner than the Gen 1 and Gen 2. Nakakatakot nga baka masagi ko at mahiwa ang kamay ko kapag pinupunasan ko ang loob ng engine compartment. Maybe they did this to cut on weight? Or cost.

Finally my trunk closing problem is solved!

Hindi na siya mahirap isara, hassle kasi sa office pagpasok sa gate at kailangan tignan ng guard ang trunk minsan 3-5 times kailangan isara ng guard yung trunk kasi tumatalbog lang Kahit gamitan mo minsan ng susi ay nakakatakot, parang mababali yung susi

Here's what I did, I use the tire wrench to pry and align the hook, adjust little by little until the trunk door can be closed gently and with less effort.

Di na kailangan magkalas ng plastic covers doon sa hook, just use your tire wrench, sikwat lang dahan-dahan para ma-straight yung hook ang aligned with the door catcher. Malambot lang yung hook, kayang-kaya ng matigas na rod or screwdriver or tire wrench.

May PDF version ba ng manual? Hindi ko na mahanap mag 1 month ng nawawala.

Finally got my brown 1.3E AT two days ago. Now at my 97km odo. Been observing for some issues mentioned in this forum such as rattling sound on dashboard and the knocking sound on front suspension. So far have not experienced yet. I hope I will not have such problems.
