May 2nd, 2014 05:40 PM #3926Re: radio wont turn off with engine
Cause: loose fuse
Solution: take out radio fuse from fuse box (pls refer to ur manual for its location)-I used a long nose pliers for this. Inspect whether the fuse is ok (if not; replace). Place fuse back.
The radio would reset (preset stations & time will be back to default). But it would turn off with the engine.
Hope this helps

Applying Rain-X will cause your wiper to skip and shudder. It's very hard to remove the chemical from windshield. Used watermark remover and a lot of elbow grease plus soap and water, took weeks to remove Rain-X.

May 3rd, 2014 09:20 AM #3929pardon my ignorance but im not seeing a real solution here. i think the real questions are where is the radio getting its current from? and, why is it intermittent.
replacing and reinstalling the fuse just resets the radio and does not remove faulty wiring (in case)

May 3rd, 2014 09:44 AM #3930I believe its a loose fuse, not an intermittent electrical flow. Pls. Note that it mighy not also be a busted fuse as I did not replace it (nor was the circuit breaker broken).
Hence: I believe the real cause is loose fuse and the soln is to reafix it. If you have another proven soln, pls share
Btw, this solved my problem, hope it also solves yours. Just trying to help.
