how long do you leave the fan on after switching the thermostat off?

I went to Toyota Global city yesterday for my 5k pms. Complained about the rattling sound when going to rough roads, Guess what? my lower arm suspension will be replace....haaayyyyy bought my car last Oct 2014, I thought i will be spared with this factory defect. I will have to wait for their call on when the parts will be available.

Mga sir anong magandang fully synthetic para sa vios naten? Sabi po kasi ok daw yung ZIC A pero hindi ako makahanap ng nagbebenta malapit dito. At kung magpapalit po from mineral to synthetic kailangan pa iflush?

parang ilan na ang nabasa kong nagrereklamo ng parehong... hindi kaya dapat nang mag-declare ng recall and replace all of them... sino kaya supplier ng lower arm na yan.., china?

ZIC A+ ung fully synthetic. Yung ZIC A semi lang yan. Nasa 800+ lang ZIC A na 1 gallon.

Yes sir, I find the Almera more comfortable with regards to suspension and ride. with FC, its about the same i guess, Our Almera is now with my parents. But i find the vios more faster and has a quick response when you step on the Gas.

I asked the supervisor if ever they changed the lower arm, will it still be the same make? He said that its an improved version. I think some of the vios owners who are not into forums are not aware of this flaw, and some after their 1k pms are no longer bringing their car to the casa. That is why i think Toyota is not making a recall on their VIOS, only few are making complains.

although i already bought a wigo, i am still looking for an excuse to buy either the vios or the almera..
perhaps if the plate number they give me is not what i wanted, i'll sell that wigo and get one of these two, and order a special plate, even at extra expense..

You cant go wrong with either of them, its just that the Almera is unpopular compared to the Vios.

i'm used to the un-popularity... i bought a series 3 sentra back then, because toyota ran out of the big body corolla xe and xl they were fire-selling then.. 'guess they did not expect such rabid response...
and i haven't regretted it. i thought nissan had a tad better creature comfort design than toyota. and that nissan engine felt bulletproof..
and since my cars stay long with me, i'm not so concerned with the resale value..

but my pet peeve is where to put my left leg.
the knee rubs against the door panel, and the foot is at an un-natural angle against the floor and wheel well bubble..

My 2013 1.3e mt was release during the launch month and it had no lower arm problem til now.

Recalls are only done for safety-related concerns (airbags, seatbelts, etc). Suspension problems are usually rectified through TSBs (technical service bulletins) and are replaced on an as-needed basis.
