    guys question. malapit na kasi akong mag 10,000 km sa auto ko. ang pinalagay ko last 5k km pms is fully synthetic oil. i remember sabi nung service advisor ko at base sa mga posts dito is top-up na lang on my next pms. question is, kelangan ko na ba dalhin sa 10k km pms yung auto ko at dun gagawin yung top-up? and ano yung usual na ichecheck?

    di naman siguro sa 15k km pa ko dapat mag pa-pms right? by 15k km, palit oil na uli? thanks in advance!

    yes sir, to keep your warranty intact dalhin nyo parin sa casa to have your oil filter and spark plugs changed.

    follow up question regarding spark plug on 10k km pms bakit po need palitan kagad base on maintenance manual clearly stated to be replace on 40k km, ano po ba life span ng oem type spark plug ng toyota imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1439251188.510425.jpg

    Oil and filter lang ang papalitan. Wala nang ibang gagawin sa Vios mo.
    Advise mo ung Servise Advisor na iuuwi mo ung used oil filter at ung bottles ng oil.

    i don't use oil flush when i change oil. neither do i use pressurized air. gravity drain lang.

    Para sa akin hindi. Marami kang mababasa sa internet expert opinions about why engine flush is not recommended. Tingnan mo sa owner's manual kung required ba ang flush.

    Nung 1st PMS ko, hindi sila nag engine flush. Siguro may commission ang SA on every service/product they sell.

    Sayang sana natimbrehan ka namin agad no go ang flushing lalo na yun hinahalo. Dyan ko inaway yun SA sa casa nun pina 1st 1k PMS yun sasakyan namin. Wala kasi ako nun time na yun kaya ayun nadale.

    Pero anyway, may susunod pa dyan, like fuel additive, engine decarbonization. Kaya always check your owner's manual para maging aware sa mga dapat lang na i perform na service.

    Yep meron sila as per stated nun kasama ko na dating nag work sa casa. Plus lahat babayaran mo ultimo retaso na basahan. Mas mahal pa sa basahan na nilalako.

    Pang laban lang ng casa is yun warranty kaya sinasamatala nila.

    ^^ usual cause, hindi sanay sa accelerator na "drive-by-wire"

    others call it "throttle lag"

    pwede pakabit ng throttle controller para mawala yung "lag"

    check mo na din kung naka ON Econo mode mo, pwede naman siya i-off

    try this, press and hold the trip meter reset button for 6 to 7 secs ata sa dash (correct me if im wrong)

    ^^ usual cause, hindi sanay sa accelerator na "drive-by-wire"

    others call it "throttle lag"

    pwede pakabit ng throttle controller para mawala yung "lag"

    Nasan po ang clutch fluid reservoir at brake fluid reservoir ng vios natin? Di ko kasi makita sa manual. Wala sa drawing nung engine

    Oops nakita ko na yung brake fluid reservoir. Decided to look under the hood myself haha

    Yung clutch fluid na lang if meron. Or cable type ba itong vios?
