Im a new driver, I dont have knowledge with engine etc. Im simply buying a car for my 2 kids. I'll use it to fetched them at school. ndi gaano pag pasok sa office. mostly city driving in province. Mdalang lng cguro ung out of town. Yun nga po I dont want to be stuck into something na ayaw ko. I fall inlove with Vios the 1st time I saw it. kaya lng sobrang mura ng offer skin ng ford fiesta sedan
I had almost the same issue..was torn between the ford focus and toyota vios…but mas tempting nga ang offer ng ford fiesta..but for me I chose Vios for these reasons:

    1) more affordable maintenance cost
    2) more spacious interior for me and my family..5 passengers always pagnalabas kame with additional loads sa trunk..and it's a growing kids pa so I have to think also of long term scenario..thanks also to sir Vinj and Dr.D for giving an insight about this..sila yung nag advise din sakin about the growing family option hehe and I find it a better choice din..
*on a personal note kase i find it na medyo masikip ang backseat ng ford fiesta as compared sa mas pinalaking space sa backseat ng 3rd gen vios..
    * but still.. stick on your budget before the comfort and everything in between kase at the end of the day…no new car owner would like to suffer from stress related to managing your monthly expenses for a new car..

mga sir ask ko na din pala ano ba bagay na type ng oil sa mga vios natin?

    choices sa manual:
    5W-30, 10W-30, 15W-40, 20W-50

may mga nakikita din ako sa mga car stores na 5W-50, 10W-40, 0W-40?

pano ba intindihin ito? the only thing na gets ko is that mas recommended ni manual ang 5W-30 engine oil for extremely low temp…
so is is safe to say na mas bagay sa high temp. climate natin yung 20W-50? or should I go for 10W-30 or 15W-40?

You will get used to it. It's better to make it a habit to physically lock your doors to be so sure. Once it becomes a second nature you can lock it even without looking at the power lock button.

I had my backing sensor from toyota. It's a 3rd party brand named Golden Eye. It has 4 rear parking sensors and a rear view mirror with LED and digital display which tells how far you are from the nearest obstruction. It also has an audible warning signal. It cost me 5.2k.
