Just had our first 1000km PMS last Saturday at Toyota Global City. Cost me 1900 (semi synthetic oil) and 1 hour 15 minutes waiting time. Not bad 😆

Pwede pala ioff ang eco mode. Nabasa ko lang to sa vcp forums. Ihohold yung odo button kapag naka display odo then may lalabas na option na eco off/on.

Bro not sure if turning off the eco indicator would have an effect on response or FC.

Posible nga pala yung 17.5km/L sa Vios natin. Hiniram ng byenan ko from Laguna papuntang Nueva Ecija balikan and he only consumed 28 liters for the 492km trip. Dalawa sila sa buong byahe. My best mileage couldn't go beyond 16km/L.

    Unit : 1.3 E AT with 14K kms

Placebo effect. The Vios' ECO indicator does absolutely nothing. It does not alter throttle response, aircon compressor settings, and other adjustments that other cars' eco modes change.

Ahh. 2 changes kasi ginawa ko. Eco off then kakafill ko lang ng gas na nitro racing +. So ang effect is from the high octane gas? Sa kalayaan subic nga pala yun if you are familiar

Yes I'm familiar with the area (I'm in Subic right now). The uphills really put stress on the Vios' puny engine. But the Vios doesn't benefit from the high-octane VPN+R - it's an old econobox engine, not a performance motor.

Try filling up to validate if your FC has really improved. But from my testing, both turning the eco indicator off and putting high octane fuel do nothing to change the Vios' efficiency.

Placebo nga lang. Same 15km/l highway driving 100-140 cruise speed so stick to fuel save na lang hehe

I would recommend the E variant for first time car owners. It has all the basic and safety features that you need in my own opinion. Been using mine for more than a month and I would say di naman stressed ang engine. The Corolla or Altis would also be a good choice especially to those who wants a bigger engine.
