Is The Philippine Market Toyota Vios Receiving Another Facelift This Year? Seems So | CarGuide

the 2023 Vios will gain a substantially changed front-end. The most obvious change is the grille which gains the hammerhead look pioneered by the newly-launched Prius. Moreover, because of the more expansive grille, the headlight clusters have been updated to match too. The front bumper has also been changed which now sports a high-gloss black finish (likely reserved for the higher-trim variants). The redesign also pushes the LED fog light housing towards the trailing edge. A silver trim at the bottom gives an interesting contrast.
The 2023 Vios is expected to solider on with the same mechanicals as before, but according to some sources, it may add even more safety equipment. Aside from its impressive standard set of 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, and stability control, some variants will now have Toyota Safety Sense or TSS. TSS enables driver assist systems such as pre-collision braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. It will likely get other goodies such as blind spot indicators with rear cross traffic alert as well. In terms of features, a larger head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is reportedly in the mix.
