If its revealed in August....probably 12 months before its launched here. So Q3 or Q4 2021. I wonder how long the waiting list of this will be......

V6 hybrid yung bagong LC
https://www.autoindustriya.com/auto-...rid-power.htmlRumors about the upcoming Land Cruiser being a hybrid isn’t entirely new, and we’ve covered that before. However, bestcarweb.jp reports in detail that the large SUV will reportedly use a 3.5-liter V6 hybrid powertrain which produces 295 horsepower and 356 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the old six-speed automatic transmission will supposedly be dropped in favor of a CVT. Full-time four-wheel drive, however, will be retained.
The torque figure looks weak. Probably only for the gas engine without hybrid assist yet included in the figure.
If that engine is a turbo....for a V6 with that big a displacement, then the torque is really lame.

Same powertrain on the 2021 LX570. Twin turbo v6 built on TGNA truck platform.

Hybrid Transmission. So torque converter on the first two gears and CVT for the rest?
That sounds interesting

possible 2023 na rin lalabas yung next gen Fort / Hilux. Ngayon ang bilis na ng model change di tulad ng pag labas ng current gen 10 years bago ilabaswhile the Hilux and Fortuner are due to receive facelifts in the near future ahead of switching to the next gen in 2023. Interestingly, the insider doesn’t exclude the possibility of a unified Hilux and Tacoma model, but he remains cautious.
Yung next gen Tundra baka parehas na rin ng engine sa LC300Truck fans will want to know the next-generation Tundra will premiere in December 2021 for the 2022MY to inaugurate the TNGA-F platform. It’ll be equipped with a twin-turbo V6 hybrid for the range-topping model.
hmmm the hybrid shouldn't cost that much if the toyota hybrid pricing trend continues lol
Toyota Land Cruiser 3 Series 2 21 to be revealed in July with TWO new 3.5-litre V6 engine options - reports - Car News | CarsGuide
With the new power figures of the 2.8 GD engine... the 3.5L diesel 6-cyl engine could possible match or exceed the 4.5L engine outputs
4.5 268hp 650nm
3.5 255hp 625nm (this is just a single turbo assumption) a twin turbo setup would add 45hp and 75tq easily.
LC300HP! and 700nm

2.8L engine on the LC300 would be pretty interesting. I would what transmission it would have...
New Toyota Land Cruiser 3 Series 2 21 to be 'stripped-out off-roader': report - Car News | CarsGuide
I would prefer the newer platform. It could probably get twin turbos on the 2.8L engine. 160-180kw and maybe 550-600nm maybe with their 10spd transmission. Though the reports say it will get the 6spd. Still that would be fun.
They really have to differentiate this against the land cruiser prado which has the same 2.8L engine....
Will toyota give this with 800-1000mm wading depth capability?... that would be pretty good.

On the one hand CVT, on the other, Toyota Land Cruiser.
So far ganda naman ng track record ni Toyota for Land Cruiser durability, I'm looking forward to seeing them buck the trend and show the world how to build a robust CVT.
Rumored power/torque figures seem to be for an N/A V6 hybrid, not turbo. If turbo for sure torque will be higher.
Guess im keeping both my LC200s. U love the big displacement V8 .
But this LC300 is very intriguing. Looking forward to the final specs. Still gonna buy this. Landcruiser fanboi here.

I think Toyota is secretly developing the Lc300 to completely annihilate this british "defender". Wading depth of 900mm [check?] Crawl Control 2.0 [check?] Suspension Articluation 800mm[check?]
