    On the plus side, itís not a scaled down Vios. Itís coming up with itís own identity. Iíd be interested in this, simply because itís the car to beat in the WRC.

    An AWD Yaris with a turbo engine would be much fun!

    If they do bring the Yaris TRD here, I hope they wonít put an anaemic 1.5L NA engine on it.

    i think it's based on the Mazda 2, which is a good thing.

    The current North American Yaris iA is a rebadged Mazda 2 DJ. The global version is an all new pure Toyota.

    No price? One enticing thing about this is the AWD, which I think is the first in itís class (if I am not mistaken). This makes for an interesting project car. Improve the suspension, upgrade the ECU, add a turbo & intercooler if possible. The Toyota works team in the WRC is currently so dominant because the Yaris is so easy to handle. Add the TRD kit if thatís your sort of thing. But this car will definitely be interesting to play with.
