Marketing ploy to connect to those who owned it before. Im not seeing many new vios'es on the road compared to other launches, so i was thinking they are betting on nostalgia feels to sell more.
Hey it's been 30 years since the line debuted, aint that old yet.

January 18th, 2019 11:39 AM #7Similar to what Toyota did in the early 2000's with the AE111/EE110 "Love Life" Corolla
They created a "LE" variant, to slot between the XL and the XE variants.
Basically a Corolla XL with 14"rims, side mouldings, and power steering.
The XE at the time already had power windows, and the extended bumpers and updated euro taillights similar to the 1.6GLi and the 1.8 SEG Altis. But still has the venerable 2E engine
