Di naman, I'm sure the new model is much more refined than the older gen. if that counts. Aside from NVH, interior materials look to be a bit better. Crash safety should be much better. But yeah, Toyota likes to price itself higher vs other makes to project an image of superiority. They call it the "Toyota Tax" in other markets. Vs 7 seat SUVs naman I think the Innova with the smaller wheel wells still has more space specially in the 3rd row.
