just got my unit. so far no jerk felt. Just wanted to ask hindi ko kasi makita, where is the Transmission fluid stick located?

Same people who complain why there is no diesel engine for this and that vehicle. Then when they introduce a diesel model everyone complains about the price. e.g., Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 6.

There is no dipstick to check atf. I would recommend that you have it checked at your casa.

Nag try ako sa NLEX mag sports mode, during 100kph nasa 6th gear (drive mode) tapos bigla ko nilagay sa sports mode nagdownshift sa 4th gear. Tama ba yun? Eh yung dalawa ko auto kapag nilagay sa sports mode di siya magdownshift at imaintain lang yung current gear.

If your speed is 100 kph ... and set to SportsMode.. it should be at least 5 or 6th gear.

As per manual, default of S-mode is 4th gear. Di ko pa nabasa kung may settings ito.

Badtrip yan, sana may settings. Buti na lang 100kph lang takbo ko, pero matindi engine break na that speed.

oo nga sir at hindi ko alam kung anong logic behind kung bkit ganun ang settings na ginawa ng Toyota
ngyn lng ako nk-encounter ng ganyan... usually tlga kung anong naka-engage na gear from Drive e dpat yun

Sport mode is only a throttle response adjustment. When you were driving at 100kph, your accelerator was probaby depressed an inch or two. But at the same accelerator position using sport mode, the throttle is much stronger hence 4th gear. It basically shortened the throttle response. Not the best explanation. I still need my coffee.

sir what if there is oil leak already? related pa ba sya sa transmission? or ibang parts na naapektuhan? meron nakita ksi sa floor galing sa ilalim ng makina. dont know if its because sira tlaga tranny or meron ng ibang naapektuhan

The idea kasi is baka kaya nagje jerk kulang sa ATF. Para ma rule out sana

so possible po sir na dun nanggagaling leak? tama ba? im just worried ksi brand new to, very unusual na magka leak. so baka ksi meron na ibang problem.

According to my service advisor they already checked my transmission fluid. Still the same.
