The downpour was heavy last night and I was driving the Fort and parang halos walang ilaw yung bi beam kaya I had to turn on the foglamps. Na experience na po yun to thos who have the V variant. I thought sa Led lang ng monty yung ganun.

Common feedback na mahina ang buga ng LED headlights ng V variant. Additionally, I find HIDs provide better lighting than LEDs (based on my experience).

Question lang to other 2.4 fort owners. Hindi ba medyo mataas yung idling speed natin na 850 +/- 50 rpm? Hindi kaya ito yung cause na parang gusto umarangkada agad ng fort when shifting to D?

Actually you cannot shift from P to D without stepping your break so i dont think your fort will move due to high rpm when idle. 2.4V owner here

Yeah but you can still feel na aangat yung fort. Also tried shifting from N to D at ang bilis niya mag accelerate without stepping on the gas.

Normal yan since gen1. Kahit todo apak ka sa brake ramdam mo pa rin yung konting surge after shifting to D either from P or N.

Sorry sir, but I don't think you understand what he is trying to convey here. May kaunting jolt(not in a bad way) talaga when you shift to D from the transmission. But that doesn't mean na sisibat na agad sya. Especially if galing ka sa ibang kotse that doesn't behave that way. Sanayan lang kung baga. But of course, he can have it checked for his peace of mind.

Fort owner also, pero manual, if you will care to backread, may case na ng SUA ang fort. The difference is that, di lumipad kasi alam ng mga driver ang tamang aapakan in case of SUA.

Well sir as we all know yung SUA is drivers fault di ba? I use to have previous montero you can shift gear without stepping on the break so ang resulta panic sa halip na brake maapakan accelelator. What i mean sa new fort nakaapak ka n sa preno tendency ng car walang movement then you gradually release break aabante yun khit hindi mo apakan accelelator pero mabagal lang

That is normal po sir. That's why you should step harder on the brake pedal when sifting to D or R. Same can be said for my MuX and our older automatic automobiles 2.4 v user.
